Might be a good idea, Ollie.
I think they use a lanyard when mounted to a surfboard.
Will make something up for Tims Go pro
Mal could of used one on the weekend
He was lucky to find it laying in the bush after the next days ride.
We searched through the footage that Tim had taken and Mal was able to pick the spot where his camera had probably gone missing.
Cheers
MurphGreat report Ollie
Sounds like ya’s had fun.
You seem happy with your new toy.
Whats the go with the 350, Adam.
Hope its nothing serious. Doesn’t sound good though.
A lot of people have been advising me to get a 350 instead of a 2 banger.
Maybe I’ll just stick with the 500 and continue to get a flogging every time we go for a ride.
Cheers
MurphCool pics, Thrillseeker.
It was an awesome day out.Heres a few pics from Sunday.
Did I mention it was cold.
Bloody cold. Thats not glass. The ice stayed with us from Mals around to Sunny Corner. :pinch:
One of Mals failed attempts at another hill. :pinch:
Bob and Tim waiting for there turn.
Bob with a little from friends
Damn.  :pinch:
This shot is proof that Bob did make it to the top but mainly it was put in to show off his new pants that he was so proud to be modeling.     :laugh:Sorry Bob. 👿
Thanks all on a top weekend
Cheers

BTW did I mention it was cold.Day 2
Bloody hell it was cold.
Woke to see all the puddles around Mals place frozen.
A feed of bacon and egg sanga’s and we were off to the corner.
Its a shame and kinda embarrassing to see other crew that were camping in a nice grassy paddock, tearing the shit out of it on their bikes and quads. Shame to see a nice camp ground get shredded. Embarrassing to be part of the bike riding fraternity.:pinch:
Apart from that it was a great ride.
Mal lead us through some nice singles with a few small transport section between.
At our first creek crossing I had a stick get caught in my front wheel and I had to dab my foot in the icy water to stay up right.
Played on the expert single out near 2 steps for a while. Tim got it. I stopped a couple of times but managed to get going again. Mal and Bob had a few goes but got it eventually. (Go team Murphs)
We then rode down 2 steps, accross the creek and found our way up to the Ski run.
Fun and games there for a while, Tim being the only one to top out.
Some more slippery pine singles back to camp.
Some pics to followbadbowie wrote:Murph nothing embarrassing about that effort! at least you were going the right way……What about me flipping the bike whilst going backwards now that’s embarrassing………
No piccy’s to say thats what happened, Scott.
If there are no pics then it never happened.
OOPS. Almost took out Rocket.
How embarrasment. This sort of thing is happening more and more. A sling on my bike again. Thanks Mal and Rocket.
These were Tims pics
I took around 100 photos on my camera but didn’t realise I had the settings wrong
Oh its fun getting old not. Couldn’t see the writing on the screen without my specs.    :angry:Great report Ace
Reconised a lot of those places
Would of been impressive to get up the (Gap Hill) on a big bike, and yes it has become a bit snotty over the last few years. :woohoo:
Cheers
