We probably won’t ride Friday though.
Sounds like fun. :woohoo:
Cheers
MurphRun out of patience with Old Girl or the editing proccess.
No offence O.G.
Just saw the oppertunity.
Cheers
MurphWill have to wait until I get home to check out the vid as our computers at work will not allow vids through.
/Wauchope
Big thanks to KTM_Rules for organising for us to jump on a Sunday ride at Bago
Bigger thanks to Grahem and Dianne for puting us up and feeding us in the morning. :woohoo:
Also to the Wauchope boys and girl. Cheers.
Reconised some Old Bull faces amonst them.
Great day, great singles, great creek tracks, great hills, great crew.
Didn’t get to take many photos
Wished some one was there to take piccy’s of my trip over the hangers.
Watched the boys go down a steep steppy hill and I thought I would take the harder looking option.
Well that was a mistake. :silly:
Just as my front wheel was about to drop down one of the rock steps I gave the throttle a blapp and nothing happened.  Silly thing just cut out as these fuel injected things do occassionally.
In that split second I knew I was a gorner. Over the bars hard with the bike tumbling after me. Broke the tail piece (again) and luckily I was reasonably uninjured.
The rest of the ride was cool but I was feeling pretty fatigured by the end.
Thanks to all involved. :woohoo: :woohoo: especially Thomo and Kuna (spelling) for leading and sweeping
Cheers
MurphSo, after we sorted Ev, we did some nice singles back up into the mountains.
Chris had the GPS cranking and we managed to do some nice stuff before the heavens opened.
I must appolagise to Dave.
He had stopped on a hill and I was behind him with the 500 singing in the sweet spot
I wasn’t going to stop as I was looking straight up at another mother of a hill.
Unfortunately as I tore past, Dave fell to his right and I clipped his helmet with my handle bars.  :pinch: Sorry, mate. It shook him up a bit but he was OK.
We didn’t get to the top of that hill as the rain fell hard.
It was funny following Mohamad along almost flat ground and watching him fish tail almost out of control in a desperate attempt to get traction. That was one hell of a slippery track, dude.

We all made it back to the cars and packed up in the rain.
Thanks to all the riders
Mohamad, Tas, Dave, KTM_Rules, Rick, Mick, Thrillseeker, Tim and of course Ev.
As always it was good to meet some more Old Bulls
Cheers
MurphHoly Shit,
Heres hoping all is well with EV…………….Last quote I heard from Ev was..
“Shit it took me 3 years to get you blokes up here………….”
Well we’ll be back when you are ready, Man. 👿 👿 :woohoo: :pinch:Don’t feel bad about the rest of the ride. :woohoo:
It was looking good until the rain drenched us.Now the trails had become silly
Actually impossable :silly:  :pinch:
Ev, as ya know, once you have a shower on that damn red clay. :angry:Did some very steep singles, out that way, and that way further.??????????
Headed up some crazy steep “fire trail”I was meant to be sweeping
Unfortunately, I thought I had a shot at GLORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This hill had the perfect line up for my bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It doesn’t happen often
But occassinaly all the worlds align. :pinch:Glad you made the step at the top of that little hill, Rick
I was so looking for a way around ya, if I had too. :whistle:Much more, later
Cheers
MurphWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats 3 great vids!!
Actually, awsome vids!!
Any more out there?????
Totally awered by them all
I know it takes hours and days and weeks and months to put together
Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
MurphSorry to Ev.
:pinch:
But we still had 9 or 10 blokes still frothing for more of what Coffs had to offer.
Between the first and second decents of the mountain, I noticed a lot of those beautiful, singles, that we all love.
Had a chat to the guru of computers, Chris, you know you were the one to pull the crew together.
Some great singles out of that area.
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
The crew from Ev’s refuge caught up a few times with us, and they kept asking why we chose the way we travelled the trails we did.
That was just a silly question to me?????!!!!!!
I guess the dumb look in my eyes said it all :woohoo: :woohoo:There are trails and there are TRAILS???????????????????????????????????????????????????
To be fair to all concerned
I may dribble the rest of this story tomorrow.  :pinch: :cheer:  :silly:
Love ya’s all
Hope to post some pics tomorrow

Murph the surfHey all
It was Mohamad that doubled Ev back down the mountain.
To tell the truth, it didn’t go to plan.
Ev was the only person that knew the way out.
We did have a little detour up some other trail. Mohamad said he could get through a particlarly downed tree with vines section. Unfortunately, after dumping our patient, he tried to get through but did get entangled in the jungley vines. After cutting vines against his chain and brake disc, we were once again free.
Please REMEMBER, this was all going on with poor old Ev trying to help lift branches and cut our way through
In the end, we had to say no more, and we turned back.
Found our way onto the very, very steep trail to the refuge of Ev’s mate
Ev, thats as hardcore as I want thanks, mate. :side:
Ev.Just talked to your misses
Sounds nasty but these doctors are pretty cool, nowadays.
I know you have the right mindset to get though this.
Human nature is so reseliance
HEY EV
GET WELL AS QUICK AS YOU CAN, MANMurph the surf
Met at Macca’s at 7:00am and did the meet and greet.
Drove to our starting point and geared up.
A tiny bit of tar and then into the bush.
One thing I can say about this place is if its not up its down and when your at the base theres only one way to go and thats back up. :woohoo:
Ev lead us straight into a steep little single and then onto some more open stuff before our first real challenge.
A mean track went straight up the side of the mountain.
There was carnage everywhere and I was part of it.
I think there were only a few who made it to the top without stopping or needing assistance.
After playing on the hill we moved on to some nice trails.
I think Ev took a couple of the boys around the easy way.
The conditions were perfect and the crew moved along nicely.
UNTIL…. Our illustious leader got coat hangered by a fallen tree and left his bike puting his head into another tree stump. The scene was not good when I arrived and some of the boys were making a makeshift sling to support his arm.
It was now the mission to get him out. We were in amongst the thick of it with no 4WD access.
Mohamad decided to double him and I followed to bring Mohamad back.
After about 12kms, some of which was extremely steep downhills we came out of the rainforest to where a mate of Ev lived and they proceeded to get him to the hospital.
My mission was to double Mohamad back up the very steep hills to the crew.
Thank god we took the 500 as it would of destroyed the 300 that we were going to take.
On meeting with the crew we all went down to take Evs bike and pack to his mates.
More later.
Cheers
MurphI have tried to call him a few times, no answer.
We had to get him out of the bush Saturday with a suspected broken arm.
Hope it was a straight forward break, with no complications.
