Hope you fella’s are not getting what we’ve been getting for the past 24hours
38mm last night and it has not stopped all day here near Newy
Doesn’t even look like letting up.
We are still riding tomorrow, they can’t close our tracks down. :woohoo:
Good luck, north coasters.
Cheers
MurphWelcome Dan
I probably met you on the Madalong ride with Stuart and Adam
Hope to see ya on another ride soon
Cheers
MurphWell Tim has just gone to get our fuel for tomorrow
Its looking like we might get a little wet. :pinch:
Another ride navigating around swollen creeks
Still intend to do some of the gnarly hills but we will see what happens when we’re out there
Any other madmen keen??
Cheers
MurphO ring chain for the casual ride, Boony
X ring for more muddy rides
Don’t know about the difference in cost??
Cheers
MurphHey Polly
All ya need now is a bash plate (not sure if you have one already, too hard to see in the photos)
And piss that silly chain guard off as they tend to fill with crap like sticks, vines and clay.
Happy days
Cheers
MurphGood onya Mick
Your the first to sign up
Will send PM now
Cheers
MurphDon’t they look pretty when brand new. :woohoo:
Come out on one of our rides and we’ll see if we can put a few scratches on her
MMM Polly 350 now
I’m sure you’ll be happy with it.
Cheers
MurphCT18 for me too
Have been using it for ten years
I do as Jeffro and sometimes even leave it on overnight and wash it off the next day
I do get it at the right price, though.
Finish the plastics with armoural and she’ll look like new
I’ve heard there are some silicone based products that work really well
Cheers
MurphSounds like you’se have been busy, Snowy
Well done
Tim and I do the same here (ie link tracks with new singles) but its always been a job for the cooler months.
Cheers
MurphHey Budge
My 07 525 fork seal became a joke
Was changing it every 2 rides or so
If you look in the “Tech Help” section and go back to page 6 you will see a thread called “Furked Fork” Lucky I am a fitter by trade so the fix didn’t cost anything
The devcon held and I got many more thousands of kms out of the old girl before selling her
Hope this is not the issue with your bike
Worth a look though
Cheers
Murph
P.S. With the bore flogged out where the bush sits it enables the inner leg to move around too much in the outer tube, thus causing the seal to leak. Best of luck.D-Rally wrote:The kids have been bugging me that they want a KTM like daddys one. So I spent Sunday converting a perfectly good Honda into a KTM. New Orange plastics with a chopped up KTM 65 graphic kit and a heavily modified 450X gripper seat cover did the trick and put a smile on her dial.A lot of love gone into that project D-Rally
Great job and the little one looks absolutely stoked.Trailraider wrote:Hi Murph,
1) I record in 720 just because it uses a bit less memory and you can get more minutes of riding on the DVD.
2) I dont use a firewire, I just stick the SD card straight into the lappy and open pinnacle.
3) I’m not sure on this one as my camera records in AVI already, let me have a look at pinnacle tonight and get back to you, I don’t think you will have to convert it though. If you going to be in sydney anytime soon your welcome to call in and have a play before you buy it if you like. Otherwise I am riding Kowen forest again this year, if you are going to be there I could bring it with me.
Thanks for the offer Trailraider
I avoid Sydney like the plague, mate. Scares the shit out of me, too much traffic.
Have noticed there are Pinnacle Studio versions 15 and 16 now.
A bit more expensive and I doubt whether I need all of what they probably offer
Did you buy your program from a shop or ebay?singletrackmind wrote:Murph the surf wrote:OK
Before I buy an editing program, I have a few questions for you guru’s1) Should we record with our Gopro in HD1080 or HD720
2) Do I need a firewire to upload to PC if using Pinnacle studio
3) Do I need to convert MP4 to AVI to edit, if so what is the easiest way
Help aprecciated
Cheers
MurphP.S. Like anything to do with computers, I think I have opened a can of worms.
I like to film in the highest resolution possible as it is easy to compress later but much harder to upscale.
The leads that came with you camera will do the job and you should be able to save files to your computer, work out which ones you want and then open them in Studio.
I would be surprised if Studio14 could not handle MP4 but if not there are free file converters online.
Good luck Murph.

Thanks for the quick response STM

Welcome atgreg
Wow, 400 000kms is very impressive especially for a bike
I thought my Nissan Patrol had a heap of kms at 347 000kms
Seems to be plenty of Adv rides going on here so I’m sure you’ll jump on one soon
Cheers
