I have fitted high bend fat bars and from memory cut off the plastic locator anyway , plumbers PTFE tape is a good thing as the it will grip well but still move in an off to save breaking anything.
I’m not too up on the west coast trailriding , their is good Adv riding their but the distances are huge to get anywhere! I’ve been planning a trip over that way for years but not yet made it , be keen to here your thoughts .

I was waiting for that !!!
After our all day ride yesterday Spud I know what I do in areas I don’t know , follow the leaders line
some of those rutted down hills leading into the bogs I trusted your line 100% , I did however pick a tighter line in the corners when I was following Phil in the really tight singles , this may have been because the 250 turned in easier. When I ride on trails I know well I try and look past the lead rider to look for new obstacles on the trail and take my usual line .
Adventure riding I just try and get the big basterd up any hard stuff best I can
Nice one Lefty , the track looks really well kept and fun. Keep us up to date on Rileys progress , it sounds like you could have a star on your hands !!!
Looks like you had a great day Lotsa !!
How are you liking the new DR Mick ? What mods have you done to it so far ?
Nick
Looks like a great weekend !!!
Top pics of top trails
Great ride report Gco , some of those trails look like great fun . And the views are unreal !!!
It’s great fun exploring new tracks , I think the discovery of a new gun trail is hard to beat !!!

On out recent High country ride Lance from Trailzone was on the Triumph and made it look very capable in the dirt. We did some technical riding and he was all over it. We talked about the power : traction as I was on the BMW F 800 GS and found it would easily get out of shape with too much throttle on the hard pack where the Tenere is more manageable. We both agreed that a very steady throttle and correct body position was essential to maintain good speed through corners.
Lance had just finished a project BMW 800 and said the Triumph was a better dirt bike , as for the tar he’s said the ride from Sydney to Gunning was comfortable. The other plus is they sound like a bloody jet taking off :woohoo:
That’s gold mate !!!
Is the sequel ‘ Inside Rider 2 Jesse Tackles The Stairs ‘

I reckon it would be rare for Nick to have to set up a bike for an old bull weighing in at 75kg !!!!
Tekniks reworked my Ten and I’ve been very happy with it ever since
