I went right over my Tenere on Friday to prepare for this ride , I fitted a new front tyre , wired in my new Zumo gps ( Xmas present
), gave it a full service and checked for loose nuts and bolts. I was amazed how many loose ones I found and it was very random which ones were loose !!I have managed to stash a heap of spares under the seat including a full set of wheel bearing , seals , brake pads ( front and rear ) , gear lever , clutch lever , brake lever , 5 Pre- oiled filter skins and a pre-oiled uni filter inner.
TB gave me the heads up on a guy that shorted out his battery by having levers under the seat so I’ve wrapped then up an securely cable tyed them in place.
I’ve managed to down size my load so much so I can now wear my body armor and a jersey and fit my Klim jacket in one of the side panniers if it’s really hot. The bike feels much lighter now and should be a heap of fun and more manageable in the harder sections

Great read Jeffro , I rode that Yengo track with TB last year and really enjoyed it too

I dont know very much about UHF Dave but that does sound like a great deal , keep us informed on how it goes if you buy it
