That’s my one concern about the Crf now gone Aaron, I was hopeing the valve clearance were an easy check
What range feeler gauge would you suggest to get ?
Credit where credit IS due , TB and I spent a lot of time discussing how we could fit a skin to the Ten and change it without disturbing the foam filter. I tried the skin over the standard Ten filter cover , TB suggested securing it with a special stud , I used threaded rod and tried it . It does work but the seed for this mod was sown by TB , I just made it and got it working first
To do a 3000km+ dusty ride and change 3 skins simply and the foam filter to remain clean has to be a good thing

Oh and Corey ….. Your not mate , I’ve seen the damage you do to your bike on the Widow Maker so I’ll wait til you get the hang of riding first

Well after a lot of advice and a lot of research I went and picked her up today , I got 10% off the new price and I’m very happy
I got her home and she rips , I am much quicker than before and have to thank Jenny at Grafton motorcycles for my new 2 stroke Husky
I love it :woohoo:
Nick
That’s a good point SB , I know it’s hard to guess how the bikes been treated but I have seen bikes with 2000km advertised and just a visual inspection can tell you the life they’ve had. I am trying to gauge what hours means in trailriding km , not a murphsberg or Evmaniacs type of ride but just average singletrack riding.
Eg Would 50 hours be about 2000 km ?? I’m not sure ?I know buying used is a gamble and everobes maintainance is different but I’m just not sure about hours ? And why would they only have hours ? Is this reason to be suspicious ?

Hey nick the grass on the other side of the fence in not allways greener, keep the drz mate it has every thing all ready done to it
I know what you mean Al but it’s not about the grass being greener … just a bit lighter
And yep it’s sold !!
