pedro wrote:hey nickj iv never new these were on the market bloody good idea though no chance of losing your camera in the bush some where.found some in perth for $379 where du get yours for $350 nickj. cheers pedroHi Pedro , my local shop in Grafton looked after me with the price as it was the 1st pair they’d sold so did a bit of a deal.
They do take still shots to Roy , it’s easy to switch between video and still and the record button then takes the still.

Now Tumbie , I know STM pretty well and his grasp of the English language is above average so I can’t imagine him saying ” Jackson is doesn’t like it “
Whatever that means

Bumbag thread hereMy rule of thumb is to service my bike and do as many repairs as possible with the tools in my bumbag , that way you know jobs you can do on the trail are possible with what you carry. I got a Bahco mini socket set that is awesome , I picked out the best bits to take ( sockets, torx , Allen key bits etc ).
I only carry 1 21″ standard tube on a trail ride , a spark plug , cable repair kit , spare chain links , quick metal and I have clutch , brake and gear lever cable tied to the bike under the seat.
My backpack has a small bag of nuts and bolts , tyre levers , pain killers , a compression bandage and snakes
Hope some of this helps mate !!

I’ll be going a new S12 rear and M12 front for the Coffs ride , if we get any rain they could be nessacary on the day
That’s the best story in a long time Mick !!
Good on Moose and Kram for having a go and winning
Gold !!!
Great report Chris , sounds like an interesting 1st dirt outing on the XR
Nick
Today we rode the loop I’m going to be leading on this ride and I have to say I was a bit nervous as the latter section I have only ever ridden once before.
I only missed a couple of junctions but realized straight away so it will be all good on the day
The loop STM has put together is a cracker with some fast flowing ridge lines , creeks , hills ,heaps of tight technical singles and some welcome fire road to cool off !!Not long now :woohoo:
