Said hill was only ridden by Mike then he came back down and advised we went back as the hire DRZ had a $3000 excess if damaged

Chris T on his standard hire DRZ fitted with 17 litre tank and road tyres.
If he stood up his heal would rest on the stand and the engine would cut out , this is how he went sitting down !!! Pretty good I thought !!

    What a top weekend !! :)

A huge thanks to 2 great mates for making the effort and coming to Noosa.
STM had a big 7 hr drive to get their and Chris T had a flight from Sydney. They both came with their wives/ partners and my wife came too , they then spent the weekend comparing how much of an Old Bull addict we are and taking the piss accordingly !!

Thanks heaps to Mike ( he’s a legend)  who led a stunning ride through the most varied terrain around. I had a ball and just wish Tom was their a bit longer to enjoy it  :( .

Steve was a great bloke to ride with and the towel he put on his head every time he put his lid on to make it fit kept us all laughing. As did Chris T getting a bog standard DRZ around some testing trails, he’s used to a KTM 690 and watching him bottom the DRZ on every bump was a classic.

I have a heap of Trillion Dollar Goggle footage and will ( slowly ) load it as YouTube accepts the HD quality footage :D :D !!!

Thanks again to all for this weekend !! I’m still a bit dazed and confused from all the beer :D :D

Just spoke with the corner store and our tyres, tubes, oil and filter cleaning gear has arrived!! Fenn at the store has a small workshop wtih a compressor that we can use for tyre changes etc and the camping out there is good with showers etc if we stay the night. I dont know why but those black cans taste better out there!!

Nice one Boulder , thanks again for sorting that out ;)

I think I’ll need a few black cans too before that sand ( it seemed to make it easier last year ) !!!
