I only ever use the ultra heavy duty tubes and they do appear more inflated than the gauge sometimes reads , I too think this is a tyre thing !
Even after Bigger Al let mine down to 8 psi on the Bello ride I had max traction and avoided pinch flats on rocks and roots. They are a trail riding essential IMOAnother
This is very funny …. Check it out !!!
Good point Bob, I don’t want to scare her off by a silly crash that training wheels would save. I don’t think she would be confident in taking the weight of a leaning bike to stop a small off before she got used to the bike. Hence the training wheels
Same again king , nowhere smooth to ride a balance bike mate. I truly wish their was , I love seeing your young guy fly around on his
I too was up for the camping on the second night but definitely not the first
Great week you’ve had TB , one we wish we could all do at sometime I’d say
white rocket wrote:i told my kids they could not ride the pw untill they rode a pushy with no training wheels the training wheels soon disapeared. don t push them they will tell you when they want to ride itI know what your saying Rocket , the eldest holds the 50 pinned everywhere now so hence the 80.
The youngest spends her spare time trying to get in the shed and sit on the 50 then gets me to push her round the yard on it, so I think by Xmas she’ll be both big enough and keen enough.
The trouble I have with a pushy is we live in the bush and have no good roads for her to learn on so I thought a bit of power at the rear wheel would be more of a help than struggling trying to peddle on grass or gravel !

What sticker kit is going on her?STM
The jury is out on the sticker kit as I don’t know what the story is yet about the plastics aftermarket or what?? I will have to get Boony to go in and have a look so he can drool all over her:laugh: At least it will look different probably not as cool as your KLX250F  :silly:
Let us know what you decide mate , I’m getting some new plastics and will be looking into a sticker kit too. I have some tank protector stickers made by Tee n Cee signs and if their sticker kits are that high quality I will be going their for sure. The Tenere tank would be buggered now if it wasn’t for them
Its time to order the t-shirts for this ride and as last year they will be good quality and the height of fashion
This year I will need riders to confirm that they want a shirt and give me their shirt size via PM before 25th August so I can get the order in, they will be a different design and colour to last year but will obviously have an off road bike theme and the ride info on them.
They will however cost you this year as the GFC has now hit Yamba too :pinch:
They will be $40 each and I need a minimum of 10 to get them for this price, if we end up with more orders the price will drop and I will refund any over payment in schooners !!! :woohoo: :woohoo:
Cheers

But after last friday shed party, shit could be messy there .No chance mate, the leave pass expires as soon as the bike is back in the shed.
Bloody hell Toes , a day late for me mate. We were only near Wauchope this morning.
Have a great ride mate !!

Hi Rob , Grafton Motorcycles has been awesome since I bought my Drz their. Jenny and her son Lochie are a wealth of knowledge and always have some great deals for us locals
If you can wait for parts also give Suttos a call. They sponsor Old Bulls so ask for Scott and he will sort you out a good discount if you mention your a member and ship it up to yamba
. They have some good monthly specials so keep your eyes open. I got 2 S12 tyres cheaper from Suttos than anywhere else ( even the US !!
)
Cheers

We got home at about 3.30 after leaving Moose in Bellbrook , it was a top day ending with some fun tracks that kept us alert in DY4 s stomping ground. Still amazed where you can take those big heavy bikes !!!
Cheers to all who came along and made another memorable ride , I had an absolute ball
I’ll load pics and do a report over the weekend , now is family catch up time ( and beer time)
Nick
Have great ride mate
Nice way to pay your respects to a biking legend.
A good mate of mine just went to Dirt Days on the weekend and what he said surpised me , he really wanted a 300 2T as he thought it would be a good pairing with his 690.he rode 3 bikes
What he said was
1: the 300 2t was super light but he had trouble getting power to the ground and found it hard to keep his chosen line ( leave that to experts like Galey !!)
2: the 350 4t was great to ride , power went straight to the ground and handled amazingly.
3: the 450 4t was the same as the 350 in most ways but he liked the option of the extra grunt and felt it wouldn’t bore him and the 350 might.
4: the guys on dirt days also rode the Husabergs the day before and the general consensus was if they were to buy a bike the berg 450 was their pick.
I thought this was interesting as it goes against what a lot of mags say, and valuable info as it’s from a trailrider like us.
Sorry to drop a brand name , couldn’t really tell the story otherwise but it was more for comparison to highlight individual views about bikes we are told we WILL like and what we actually do have the most fun on
Their you go unit TB beat me to it
