    Hey Nick,
The awning on these little tents are called a vestibule
Wise to use the word awning though.
How many people would know what you were talking about if you used vestibule.

Apparently the blackwolf Dragonfly is a straight copy of the Hubba Bubba but a 3 rd of the price. I will measure the inside when I finish work today.

If it’s any help I am 6 ft 1 and have no problems with space and I also take in my lid , jacket , riding pants and backpack. The awning is good to keep boots and knee braces dry ;)

Looks like Tryhard is out but I’m coming just for the lamb curry.Another ussual who would like to come along is starting to develop a nasty illness that may be too serious for him to go to work but well enough to ride.
The small bearing on the output shaft (the opposite end of the sprocket) failed and peices fell into some of the gears causing damage. The load on the shaft was taken by one of the shift forks to the extent that the shift fork had discoloured from heat at the contact point. The damaged gears were replaced with two complete gear clusters and shift fork set sourced second hand. New piston rings went in while it was apart.Tested ok riding for a couple of hours the other night and will go through Ourimbah SF to get a latte:) and back on Saturday morning to give it another couple of hours test.

All good so far and just need to pack my gear and I’m off.

I’m glad you can make it mate , shame about Tryhard. I’m going to have to cap it with who’s going now mate. It’s just getting too close to leaving and I’m trying to work out numbers for a pub stay that may already be hard with us 5 ;)
Plus the rides been up for a while and I think we need to call it now !

    Cheers

Man in hospital bed wearing oxygen mask over his mouth.
    “Nurse”
    he mumbles,
    “Are my testicles black?”
Nurse raises his gown, holds his dick in one hand & his balls in the other,
she takes a close look & says,
“There’s nothing wrong with them Sir.”
Man pulls off the oxygen mask, smiles at her & says very slowly,
“Thanks 4 that, it was lovely but listen very very carefully,
    “Are-my-test-re-sults-back?”

I also carry a card inside my helmet with my personal details incl phone number, address and medical history including allergies on it – just tucked up under the liner. Also have an ICE (in case of Emergency) contact in my phone. Its on the card as well considering I’m the only one who knows the unlock code. Just something else that maybe worth considering. Just the sort of info that I ask being a paramedic.

    Hi Bulla
What would be the perfect info you could find on a patient at a job you were called to ?

Be great to know so we can all help you guys and ourselves !!

The bike is back together and had a short test ride so chomping at the bit bit to do some adventuring.

Tryhard is still begging to the powers that be for a leave pass.

I can’t wait to ride. I passed a guy on a adv bike going to work the other day and I had to ride.

    Looking forward to it.

Good stuff Lotsa , how’s the bike going ?? And what was done ??

Tell Tryhard to ignore the powers that be and I have a nice hot lamb curry waiting for him on Tuesday night !! That should do it !!! ;) :D

Yeah, I have the Jetboil unit on my wishlist for birthdays & Xmas etc (hope the missus or relos come thru)

Thought the hexamine would be cheap, light backup unit in case of emergency or broken Jetboil etc
    My 2c worth :)

That’s a top idea for a back up unit mate ;)

    Might do that myself !!!

I can’t remember what TBs JetBoil was worth but knowing him it was under $20 :D

I had one too eagle and for what they are they aren’t bad but do take a while to boil!
I think TBs JetBoil set up is by far the best unit avalible for the price. It’s very quick set up and very quick to boil.

    My 2c ;)

A really good mate mine and new Old Bull ,Marlow, is coming on this ride with us so some serious shed time was needed as he doesn’t have an adventure bike and I offered up my DRZ which is in trail riding spec.
The S12 and M12 were changed to ED78 and AC10 and the rear sprocket was dropped to a 44. We removed the polysport headlight and fitted the standard light and screen. The 28 litre tank was fitted , air hawk and rear rack. We also fitted the Giant loop bag I bought at the birthday ride auction and sussed out how the luggage would work.
Beers were drank and we had a laugh doing it!!!
    2 1/2 hours later and he’s ready for the ride !! ;)
