mal5.1 wrote:Can you see any of the goggle frame with them on? Seems there is less lense in the middle of the goggle. It bugs me when I can see any of the frame of the goggle when riding.Hi Mal
I honestly can’t say I noticed the goggle frame when riding , the blue light that I thought could be annoying is only visible if you look up so I think general vision is good.I like the idea of the Gopro mounted on the chest too

If you need goggles and a camera your in front, if you are like me and have 8 pair of googles in good nick well your behind
It is for me comparing apples and oranges
TB
But isn’t the point “I want a camera, which do I choose”, regardless of how many goggles you own if you haven’t got a camera this is a valid option  I have a few pairs of goggles of varying quality and I will still wear them, I think this camera is for times when something special could happen or on new terrain. I won’t wear it every time I go out on my local loop or a ride I do often.
After I realised I didn’t turn on the camera for my ride up The widow maker ,Corey was keen to have another go ,so we fitted him up with the goggle cam. Ignore my big melon in the scene and enjoy Corey make the widow maker look easy………. which its not !!!
Very very nice TT, you’ve done a great job !!
Is their much weight in the top box and panniers , I’ve never picked up a set before and I only know Tryhard with hard cases. I know a lot of guys swear by them.
Look forward to catching up for a ride one day !!
Just as a comparison , what’s a GoPro worth ?
Pingers and virgins !!!
I don’t remember that bit !!!
This is the section before the widow maker ! sweeeet :woohoo:
Top tip TT !!
Thanks for thatI have started running a spare clutch cable in position , just in case mine brakes and it’s any easy change over but your idea would take up little room and be good for all bike on a ride.
more of the new trail!
King STM wrote:And another question Nick, did you work out if the lense angle can be adjusted?STM
I don’t have the instruction book at hand mate , left it at work !!
I’ve emailed them with the question thoughOne thing I did notice , when Corey wore then up the widow maker the angle was perfect ? Maybe I’m wearing my lid differently , don’t know! Still early days I’ll work it out
fatandforty wrote:Nice review. I have been looking at these for a while now (ever since I spent an hour looking for my Drift HD170 when it fell off). A couple of questions though, do the goggles fog easily and will they work with my quickstraps?I only noticed fogging when we were at a standstill after some strenuous singles but all my goggles fog then
Not sure about the quick straps I’ve never used them but if you want some more pictures of the strap mounts let me know and I’ll post them up.
I’m really pleased with them , I even wore them home on the highway on the way back from the bike shop to test them out
I’ve missed this ride report in the past and it’s great one Gaz !!
Thanks for sharing all the pics and movies
Nick
These are the brand new trails STM was talking about!!
Gold, Gold, Gold :woohoo:
