Good review TB, I will try a Mitas / Dunlop 907 combo for the next ride too, my Dunlop 606 had done 3100km and has no centre knob left and chunks missing from the side knobs. Great tyre just no longevity for adventure riding !

Good stuff ! That all looks fairly easy !

How often would you recommend a valve check on an adventure bike ?

Hi Pezz welcome to OBT , sounds like we have very similar interests , I own a DRZ also which I used for last years Cameron Corner attempt and I’ve recently bought a Tenere and got a few kms under the wheels in the last couple of months.
The more I look for new adventure riding tracks in this country the more I’m amazed at what you find and the people you meet along the way.

The scapheap challenge is a great ride that I’ve followed closely on adv this year , well done !

In the wake of bin laden’s death, Muslims have gone on the rampage in Bankstown and Lakemba killing anyone who’s Australian. Police fear the death toll could be as high as 2.

A farmer buys a young cock. As soon as it comes home, it rushes and screws all the 150 hens.
    The farmer is impressed.
At lunch, the cock again screws all 150 hens.
Farmer gets tense now. Next day, he finds the cock screwing the ducks and the geese.
Later, the farmer finds the cock pale, half-dead and vultures circling overhead. Farmer says, “You deserved it, you horny bastard!”
The cock opens one eye,and says, “Ssshhh. They’re about to land.

    Hi Nickj,

I can highly recommend the Simpson Desert… best to get there then learn how to ride on sand…… makes it more interesting…… just make sure you got West to East….. nothing like hitting Big Red at the end of your experience rather than first up…. put it on your bucket list!!! Makes any sand experience after that a breeze.

It’s on the list for sure Kat B) I’m hoping to do it next year :woohoo:
