Good on ya Bollocks , awesome stuff !!
As I lived in the uk during the 80’s when mad cows roamed the countryside I can’t give blood in Australia unfortunately
My mother has given blood every 3 months over their for almost 50 years which I reckons a top effort !!Hi Peter
I have a 1978 xl250s and although the choke cable seized about 2 years ago it starts every kick. I use it as out farm get about bike as I now have other trail bikes but every time I jump on the XL it makes me smile !!Welcome to OBT
Nickj
Hi Jimbo, welcome to OBT, great part of the country you live in ! We’re doing an adventure ride down to Vic in a couple of weeks and I’m itching to check it all out.
See you on a ride soon !!
Nickj
After speaking with TB we thought it a good idea to get some rider contact sheets together like we did for the Cameron ride. Basically it will have names, addresses, medical condition if any, closest relative and any other info you feel nessacary.
I will have the sheets laminated and on one side will be ride info ( fuel station locations and numbers, motorcycle repair and parts shops, possible accommodation if needed and hotels of course !).and on the other rider contacts.
The riders that went on the Cameron ride I still have your details unless things have changed since October 2010 but I will need to get details from…Fish
Kram
Tryhard
and any other reserves that will be coming.I will need to get this info before Friday so I have time to get it sorted before I leave on Wednesday.
Please PM me asap.Cheers
Nickj

Originally it was thought it was for food after spending so much on a DRZ and a Tenere but it turns out he threw his new fuel mod switch out with his lunch rubbish. :silly:Should not be too hard to find as Yamba only has one Maccas

I will also bring a spare pair of riding pants.
We should all smell the same anyway so all should be good, until we get into town!
We must all remember to bring our cool bags for night caps!!:evil:My soft esky is already strapped on the bike mate!!
Only to fend off cold nights of course 👿
Hey Mick, it’s not too late mate , P platers think they know it all but still benefit from guidance !!
I was working out what gear I’ll be leaving with on the bike next Wednesday and found this link helpful with minimum and max temps in April .
Thought I’d pass it on click here !Very nice Boulder, amazing how much better the adventure DR looks over the standard pig!!

I would have a go Al but not sure I’ve got your skill to make some of those hills!
Your advice on tyre pressure last time got me up the last hard hill of the day first attempt but I’m am way off having your speed to attack with confidence to do it hill after hill!I will also be on the high country ride that weekend so that’s going to be a good test in itself !!
