Hope to join the in the fun soon!

I say this because organisers have the inherant responsibility of the safety of the riders, like the captain of a ship is responsible for the safety of all those on his ship, I feel the same applies for trail rides in the bush as we have similar remoteness to consider.

    Just another 20 cents worth.

    Beemer.

When I organize a ride I feel responsible only for showing other riders the correct way, not for their personal safety.
The last thing anyone on a ride wants is an injury but we’ve all done it and it’s solely the responsabiliy of that rider. It’s a dangerous sport and I don’t believe a ride organizer is responsible for other riders if he has made the type of ride clear at the start.

thinking back I should have really legged it, but you don’t get invites like that every day

Nickj got his screen thru Sutto’s with all his stuff (discounted) dont know what brand it is but seems a good thing

Suttos sorted me out with a screen for the Cameron ride, I don’t know the brand but I’d say they’d have a record. It handled dust, rain, hail , snow and TBs roost very well. !! I set the screen as high as possible and it worked a treat, I would recommend it !
It fits Drz and Dr 650

The Old Glen Innes road is a great ride, we came from the Glen Innes end, there were some pretty scatty gravel corners on the way down but once it flattened out it was great riding feet on the pegs sliding the big girls.

A short tunnel on the way

Thats what I’ve been hearing badbowie, getting keen to check it out now!

Good shot of the tunnel , hard work for the poor buggers that dug it by hand

Were they cheap tie downs Kat? I had the same result with a cheap set and now only use quality ones. I can’t remember the name but all the bike shops stock them and they are around $50.
