She said ” Is that you or the beer talking ?”
I replied ” It’s me , talking to the beer “

Hope to join the in the fun soon!I say this because organisers have the inherant responsibility of the safety of the riders, like the captain of a ship is responsible for the safety of all those on his ship, I feel the same applies for trail rides in the bush as we have similar remoteness to consider.
Just another 20 cents worth.
Beemer.
When I organize a ride I feel responsible only for showing other riders the correct way, not for their personal safety.
The last thing anyone on a ride wants is an injury but we’ve all done it and it’s solely the responsabiliy of that rider. It’s a dangerous sport and I don’t believe a ride organizer is responsible for other riders if he has made the type of ride clear at the start.Happy birthday Kat
I hope you’ve had a top day , I’m looking forward to catching up on a trail or adventure ride soon!!All the best

Was shagging this bird over her kitchen table when we heard the front door open.
She said “it’s my husband! Quick try the back door!” ……….thinking back I should have really legged it, but you don’t get invites like that every day

Suttos sorted me out with a screen for the Cameron ride, I don’t know the brand but I’d say they’d have a record. It handled dust, rain, hail , snow and TBs roost very well. !! I set the screen as high as possible and it worked a treat, I would recommend it !
It fits Drz and Dr 650A great ride report TB , I’m still smiling about the last couple of days and that report turned the smile into a laugh again !!
Thanks for the suggestion of an adv ride up here , just make sure you head up to Brissy more often eh!!
Just had the best laugh of my life in ‘Spotlight’… A little Muslim kid went up to a pair of black curtains and shouted “MUM!”
It’s a real shame you can’t make it Kram but better to find that stuff now rather than half way round !
If the ride is a good one their will be a next time for sure!

The Old Glen Innes road is a great ride, we came from the Glen Innes end, there were some pretty scatty gravel corners on the way down but once it flattened out it was great riding feet on the pegs sliding the big girls.
A short tunnel on the way
Thats what I’ve been hearing badbowie, getting keen to check it out now!
Good shot of the tunnel , hard work for the poor buggers that dug it by hand
The weather seems to be coastal, yamba is copping a heap but looks like it’s not making it to where we’re heading

Will be an adventure for sure !!
Happy birthday Gary,
Looking forward to riding to Cameron corner with you this year!!

Were they cheap tie downs Kat? I had the same result with a cheap set and now only use quality ones. I can’t remember the name but all the bike shops stock them and they are around $50.
That’s great Kram , be good if you can make it
