Work does get in the way still !!!
Now I’ve fully recovered from Ev and Maccas Bello bash, I knocked off work early and got the Tenere repacked and ready to leave for Sydney tomorrow.
The suspension is worryingly soft so I lost a lot of gear off the rear rack after these pics but it gives an idea ..Really looking forward to this one !! :woohoo: :woohoo:
Welcome Di5co , you’ve come to the right place to get in on some top riding!!
Where are you from??
What a day, left home at 4.45am and just got home now (9.40pm), the riding was awesome and really put me to the test , thanks heaps to Ev who lead faultlessly all day and Macca who swept up the carange on the slickest clay I’ve ever seen. Again a great bunch of old bulls all with the same goal.
My highlights….
Having Gary530, DY4 and phelix all on their first obt ride. These are guys I enjoy riding with on our own backyards and it was great to see them on such a top obt outing.
Seeing STM bounce back in no time after a huge stack and blasting the last few singles together!
Meeting badbowie and sb , a big effort to attend
Tdriver being their and laughing at most of my offs!!
Struggeling with a greasy hill and watching bigger al let out about 5 pounds of air and blast up ( thanks al!!)
Following DY4 through the tightest section of twisting singles , feet up the whole way, looking more like a pro trials rider and picking the best lines ( which I followed  )
Going skyward on a big erosion mound while cramping in both legs then crashing and bringing Macca down too. I got going but Macca was left with a slick hill after all the bikes . But colorful language got him to the top   ( sorry mate)
Seeing Ev after some very hard sections not think twice about heading back down massive hills to help whoever needed it , legend!!
I don’t think I’ve ever crashed that much in one ride!!
Looking good Boulder, be great to watch you set it .
Confirmed, thanks for sorting it Mick , see you with $60 and a beer at the Krambach pub!
Looking forward to catching up with you Badbowie , going to be a top day!!

Nick had the same problem with my ignition you can pull the key barrel apart easy job works great now.
Thanks Al
I wanted to make sure today that the electrics were going to be reliable so I removed the key barrel totally. I’ll have a chat with you tomorrow on how to pull it down if that’s ok !Krusty wrote:

Top tip from mrs. J !!
Mine are rubber backed.. On camerons they didn’t scratch but left a black mark which came off.. I been thinking about draping something over the path the bags follow.. Sheep skin sounds good..
Mine have a rubberback too mate but once you get dust and dirt behind it’s like sandpaper!!
I’m going to try the sheepskin and hopefully save the side of the Tenere !
Hey Scott, I pinched your silcone spray secret to a beautiful dirt bike, the Drz looked great until I trailered it down my dirt road to get Garys bike.
Now it’s got a good layer of the RTA’s finest gravel stuck all over it !!
