Jeffros onto something their, also check around your forks, lots of wiring around the head stem that could have been pinched!

Sometimes as a man you just can’t win.

I was holding the door open for a young lady yesterday when she said

“Will you fuck off; I’m trying to have a shit…

    Hi os
If a new battery isn’t charging then what the guys suggest is spot on , check connections and get a meter and make sure you have got voltage with the battery disconnected.

If both these are ok you may have a short to earth which will drain your new battery quick smart. This could be cables that have been pinched or perished over time and cracked.

My fault finding method would be
    1 check connections and clean.
2 check voltage input to battery
3 ride bike then pull fuse, leave for a day or so then check voltage
make a note of reading. Then ride again , leave with fuse in recheck reading.
If theirs a big difference you have a wiring fault and need to start tracing and checking wires. If you have access to insulation resistance equipment this can be sped up. If not for a DIYer it’s a slow process of elimination.

Im not an auto electrician , my stuff is all 240v and up, but I hope this helps.

If you get really stuck and need more of an explaination PM me and I’ll give you a call !

    Good luck! ;)

I have both chain case gaurd and the stick on type that stop you brake or gear lever busting into your motor. I have seen a couple of peoples aftermath and didn’t want to go there so I bought both.

Apparently DRZ engine cases are pretty thin !

    Hi Rudy
I’m picking up a 2009 Tenere in a week or so and it’s got stock suspension. I will be getting you guys to give it the works in Feburary but I have a ride to Nabiac planned before then.
Knowing TB a would guess the ride up from Sydney will include some challenges so I’d like to know how to get the best out of my stock set up.

I’m 95kg without gear and will have some camping gear and soft panniers on the back.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

    Nick

    Hi Casual

Welcome to OBT , nice ride the Husky , I was very suprised how rider friendly it was for a big bore bike.
A mate had one and I enjoyed my ride on it.

    See you on the trails

I ordered some from Sydney today , so I’ll let you know how they go !

I too wear Gaerne boots and they are pretty good , but for weekends like Coffs with 3 days of crossing creeks they were soaked inside. I normally go for the shopping bag over my socks but it does your feet no favours on a big day.

At $60 delivered they’re not cheap so I’m hoping for big results and totally dry feet!!

It means it’s a really good one Aido :D

my iPhone is 3g and when the 3g symbol is at the top of the screen the Internet is at it’s fastest. I would say the 64 is 64 gigabites of memory.

Everything I do on old bulls is on my iPhone and from what I know the ipad is the same with no phone but larger screen.

When your into it go to the app store the and check out , photobucket mobile, everytrail pro, motionx terrian gps, bikesales mobi, MX mayhem, WZ weather app, Oz bom radar.
These are all handy dirt bikers apps.

No pressies for me today. Got mine a few weeks ago. :woohoo:

Nick, you’ll look like a rock star in that new kit mate. Very nice. :woohoo:

As long as rock stars slide sideways down singletracks I’ll fill that roll mate !!

I’m very surprised at the quality of this fox gear , it’s very thick material compared to other gear I’ve had, I don’t really want to crash test it but I’d say it will get a work out!!
