    THANKS RC HONDA (roo hitter,skippy)

bring it on i’ve heard a few today B) B)

You have no idea how freaked out I was when I had a rider missing , it took everything in me not to loose it , but riding round the corner and seeing you upright was one huge relieve!!
I’m stoked nothing was broken, how I’ll never know that arm looked bad, and that you made it to your wifes birthday bash. She’s a legend running at least 3 km into the bush to find you.

Next year or before we will make it round that loop, it was a good one!! ;)

You did do a top job Boony , I haven’t got the balls to stand up in front of people and do what you did to get more dollars in the jug, you did it well and certainly made a massive difference to what was raised!

their was some excellant riding loops put together by STM and great blokes to ride them with!

I ended up riding 13 hours of single track in three days which has left me with great memories and the worst case of monkey butt I’ve ever had

My missus thought she was being funny when she said my cock resembled a Tic Tac.
After she had finished her little victory laugh, I asked her”If that really is the case, how come your friends still have bad breath?”

Two friends are fishing near a bridge. Suddenly a Hearse and two Funeral Cars go over the bridge so one of the men stands up, takes off his cap and bows his head.
When the cars have gone he puts his cap back on, sits back down and carries on fishing. His mate turns to him and says,
” Dave, that’s one of the nicest most respectful things I’ve ever seen “
    Mick replies,
” Well we were married for nearly 20 years “

I have been thinking about this ride all wedk and with it getting closer thought it time to fit the holy Grail s12 tyre!!
All was going good until the last bite and I thought it might make it easier to remove the tyre lever if I used the un-spooned end of the lever. It’s the first time I’ve done this and I only own short levers.

Yep I pinched the bastard!! :(. First one ever :(

tommorrow I’m working in the middle of the bush an hour from the closest bike shop and I thought I’d be smart and change the tyre while the bike was still on the trailer from last weekend. Now I have given myself a mission to sort it out tomorrow so I can be ready for final trail cutting dutys Friday morning.

Looks like an early knock of tomorrow for sure :D

sounds like an epic weekend coming up scott, well done on the organising side,to all involved.

Everything is in place Boony. It is now up to Mother Nature!

A big thanks to Tdriver who not only gave up two whole Sundays to cut trails but also donated hi vis vests and contributed in many other ways.
And a massive thanks to Nickj who agreed to run as second lead in terrain that was not his backyard. As much fun as we have riding together the last two months has been about learning his route and studying maps and marking GPS points. It is a lot of responsibility leading that many riders and he proved last weekend that not only does he have his loop down but has spent so much time learning the forest that he has bail out routes and short cuts planned if need be. Keep in mind Nick lives 1.5 hours away so he has invested a lot of travel time to ride regardless of weather. If you want someone in your corner when it comes to putting together a weekend like this then Nickj is your man.

I have enjoyed every minute of putting this together and any way that I can give back to OBT is my pleasure indeed.

    STM

Thanks for the kind words Scott , but unfortunatley this is all a selfish act and great excuse to ride some awesome trails !! :woohoo:
At no point has helping with this ride been any more than good fun and a top excuse to give the missus that I have to help a mate in need ‘ what can I do ??? I gotta go riding in Coffs AGAIN! B)
you have excelled in preperation and all I’ve had to do is ride and remember a couple of turns ( I learnt them all on the first ride the rest was an act to ride them again and again! :woohoo: )

All I know is all Old Bulls attending are in for an awesome weekend!!

    How long now ????????

    Hey Guys,
Nick, I won’t be able to ride any time soon but very willing to help out, how about you post an address that I can send some ‘folding’ upto, you can then deposit into the fast fill on my behalf.
Do you guys do any bench racing with out rides? I’m based in Sydney south but happy to travel for a get together.
Maybe a local BBQ for the OBT crew with a donation might be an idea?
I know we are close to Christmas and all but….

    See you all soon

    Cheers
    Action.
