So it’s only a couple of hours south of yamba!!
If you want an extra rider next time you go that way I’d be keen and I’m sure STM would be up for it too!
Sounds like you had a good rode Corey, where is yarrahapinni?

Quote:After Scotty suggested a special bumper sticker for this ride I went and saw our good friends and proud supporters of OBT Tee n Cee signs. Both Craig and Tim were on deck and they introduced me to the new owners. Here is the draft of the stickerThese guys do great work, I only told them where the ride was on and it is Single Track Heaven and there it is.
I will get a few extra copies for Menace as he cant make it
TB
the stickers look great, TB.
What would tee n cee roughly charge for a DRZ sticker set?
Sounds the business Krusty, I’m keen to see it on some Coffs singles mate! Theirs not many bikes you could ride through the outback on a big ride one week then spend a few hours swapping parts and get straight into the tight stuff!
Go to love the versatile DRZ!!
I’m looking forward to meeting you on this ride fish, Boulders a top bloke so I’m sure his brother is too !!

Could not have been too many big jumps etc. You would think it would bag out on the jumps and rhythm sections and be a pig unless it was very well set up. Still two years back a guy came third (as a team)in the horton ponyx on a CRF 230. Sorry back on the topic love the Husaberg 390 they just look so good. But have only seen two while out riding. Sorry Im not much help am I.
I saw this at STMs house and couldn’t believe it, both bikes were standard and the Fro was getting some air on the Drz250, I think the times were identical. Amazing!
I spoke to a guy that owned a 390 and reckoned the handling was shocking and he through a lot of money at it and never got it right, he ended up selling it. I have no idea what he spent the money on , or even if the upgrades were carried out by a professional, but by his account the standard handling was to bad to live with.
From what I’ve red the 570 is less aggresive compared to the 450 and rides like a lot smaller bike!
All I know Turns is you got to get something real quick for Coffs or STM will not be happy!
Mickp where are ya, need some opinions on this bike !!
The missus asked me “When you’re on a boys only trip do you think about me?”
Apparently “Only to stop myself coming too quickly” wasn’t the right answer!Like most of the new mid size 4wd the rear suspension is very soft for a good ride but they hit the bump stops at any more than 700 kg , I had to fit air bags on my hilux to sort it. Also the clutches are useless I’m on my third in 130000km and a mate with a Navara is on his second in 80000. Their are heavy duty clutches avalible but they won’t fit them under warrenty.
I reckon they are all very similar now and apart from resale the hilux isn’t leaps ahead of all the others like it used to be, on price and hindsight I’d go the Navara.Happy Birthday Aaron , have a top day mate ,
hope we can catch up for a ride again soon !
