I don’t get it Mr. Blue!!
A man walks into a drug store with his 8-year-old son. They happen to walk by the condom display, and the boy asks, “What are these, Dad?”
The man matter-of-factly replies, “Those are called condoms, son. Men use them to have safe sex.”
“Oh I see,” replied the boys pensively. “Yes, I’ve heard of that in health class at school.”
He looks over the display and picks up a package of three and asks, “Why are there three in this package.”
The dad replies, “Those are for high-school boys. One for Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday.”
“Cool!” says the boy. He notices a pack of six and asks “Then who are these for?”
“Those are for college men,” the dad answers, “Two for Friday, two for Saturday, and two for Sunday.”
“WOW!” exclaimed the boy. “Then who uses these?” he asks, picking up a 12-pack.With a sigh, the dad replied, “Those are for married men. One for January, one for February, one for March.”
In my experiance getting to know your local dealer leads to great service and always a discount or freebie. Grafton Motorcycles have always looked after me with price and often throw in a can of chain lube or air filter oil. Always returning faulty gear is not only possible but easy whereas overseas returns are a pain.
For the Cameron trip I halved what I was going to spend between Grafton Motorcycles and Suttos and and would have spent $700-$800 at each. I would never feel happy about sending that much money to a foreign economy. Now that’s a product review. I would like to see this kind of honesty in more bike mags !
I think theirs a clue in
” excludes tyres and oil”. In scotts post Krusty!!
I am also in the market for an adventure bike, although the Drz 400 e did a great job on the Camerons Corner ride I was lucky enough to ride TBs Tenere on and off rode on the way home and I was very impressed. It is very comfortable in the seat and feels great off road standing up.
I have looked at all the options and it ended up between the DR650 and the Tenere, weight was my biggest concern but after riding one it felt lighter than I thought it would so I think I’ve made up my mind !The loop that STM has put together for me to lead is one of the most varied and fun loops I have ridden , I just hope I can remember all the junctions !!!
We were trying to bypass a 3 km section of bitumin that takes us to the lunch time meet area ( pub ) and thought we had cracked it along a nice twin track, we could hear the road but their was a bit of an obstacle to overcome, I looked on my GPS and in large black letters it said ‘SWAMP’ !! We decided to have a crack but after around 200m of water of varying depth and getting covered in some really smelly swamp we decided it probably wouldn’t be the best thing to take 15 riders through before we walked in the pub!! It was bloody funny trying though !!
Scott has worked really hard on this ride and I think he was a bit concerned about the bitumin before lunch, to be honest the trails are fairly physical and great fun and I reckon we will be glad of the rest !

We will be going down it not up it so don’t worry Corey, you won’t have to ride 15 bikes up.
STM
I wasn’t going to let on we were going down it, thought it would be a nice surprize !!  :woohoo:
Good luck mate, have a great ride.
I can’t imagine you going slow for too long
It’s their Corey don’t worry !!!
STM and I are going to ride on of the loops for this ride today , conditions here are perfect and I can’t wait! :woohoo:
The idea is for me to learn the loop I will be leading as I have only ridden it a few times and 55 km of singletrack with lots of junctions is taking a while to sink in. the last thing I want to do is lead 15 Old Bulls up the wrong trail !! so I’m going to plot it to GPS today and hope we don’t find ourselves halfway up 2 step hill (grade 4.9 hill  ) on the day !!
Great allrounder Shell, I’ll keep my eyes open for you.
I find living in the bush and giving clear notice that their are guns and dogs on the property means I can leave my keys in all my vehicles!!
good to see people will be getting their bikes back though.
