Your welcome to hide at my place I have the week off we could do some trail riding if you want, I am serious, we could do Hampton, Zig Zag, around the Watagans. STM will be around he might come and play, then head out to the Christmas party on friday. Then when you get home on the Sunday night and she is on the rev limiter just calmly say “Babe you mixed the Sundays up, simple mistake Babe, you dont listen do you and wisk her of to bed”

that’s a golden plan TB, and after a few afternoon ales I do believe it would work :woohoo:Just got to sort out the boss
Hang on I am the boss,

I watched the DVD and it looks perfect conditions and the coverage is spot on, I just can’t seem to stop going for Toby Price , his riding style is awesome!

Yeah lead no dust there

Yeah a spare filter and some skins mate would be the go. I will bring the filter cleaning solution, gloves and tub if you bring the Motul filter oil
TB
done deal TB , and if you miss your share of the dust I’m sure we will have plenty left at the end of each day

I totally agree TB , I rang my local shop my local bike shop yesturday and asked if they had any idea of the spring sizes that they put on my new Drz over a year ago so I could let Tekniks know.
Within 20 minutes she rang back with name, manufacturer and part number, fully knowing if was for another person to do the work.I go back time and time again because of that service.

Quote:The tyres you start with will be the ones you will need to finish with mate, we wont have the room to carry spare tyres on the ride (I only ordered 2 to use one elsewhere, cheaper for 2  )A Set of Bajas on that sort of riding will do the mileage.
TB
I was hoping that would be the answer TB , I really wasn’t planning on changing tyres . I think I have just got use to the north coast trails , and getting through a lot of rubber
And thanks to the DRZ no oil changes either :woohoo:
Will 2 complete sets of tyres be the go for this trip ,I have never got more than 1000km out of a set and still felt confident with them, but thats riding different terrain to this??
I was also talking to my local bike shop up here and she suggested a good gel seat addition for this trip, anyone else thinking about seat comfort, or is that just for the soft pommy !!!???
whats your thoughts on these tyres for the 400’s?? and what milage are you expecting from front and rear??

Quote:So has anybody looked into those luggage loops yet? I am still debating what to use whether it be my soft panniers or I use of of those soft loops as we dont need to carry so muchTB
I have looked into the luggage loops TB and am still undecieded, the giant loop range has a small 10 ltr, then a 30 ltr and a 50 ltr. This range is quite expensive but looks to be excellant gear.
Wolfman make a saddlebag which needs no racks and holds 18 ltr , this seems to be a better size and still good quality, with a reasonable price tag. The adventure moto site has heaps of info on all these bags. Not sure if they are all avalible through Suttos, I was going to call them when I decided.
I have just ordered a Kriega hydro 3 ltr backpack with a 10 ltr add-on which can be either attached to the backpack or used as a tail pack. This is also good quality gear and I figured with the wolfman saddlebag should be ample storage.
Nick
sorry about that just thought i’d better get one in before the pommy onslaught!!!

The aussie is alone with just a yanks bum pointing out of the sand , knowing he will die, the aussie makes his move :woohoo:
