I have a Drz and although it’s a top bike when Corey let me ride his klx at STMs it was so much easier to maintain a good pace in the singles, I think this was down to better weight distribution.
I also found I had to do so much to the Dr to suit me. Whereas the klx seems great as a standard bike with few mods.
So I reckon Micks on the money with both you and Corey saving dollars and space with spares.
I’m sure whatever you end up with you’ll be having a ball!

when Corey is back on track we will have to catch up for a ride with STM or up at my place, either way I hope it’s soon!!

Nice pipe Boony! Still trying to work out if a baffle effects a 4 stroke much, I asked the question at Maclean mx this morning and the general feeling was yes for a 2 stroke , not really for a 4 !
So the good news is I WAS riding better yesturday!
I have had the staintune on for 6 months and rejetted to suit , it made a big difference but after putting in the baffle today ( mainly to cut some noise for next weekend), I’m wondering if I have been missing something??
Hi Scotty I know of one in yamba that was for sale a while back but don’t think it sold. I bought one of the two they had, it just needs a service and maybe new rubber foot pegs. We paid $ 800 for ours and it’s been great. I could see if it’s still avalible tomorrow if you want and bring it to the poker run??
