Sounds like a fun trip despite the weather, is the udder cow cafe still in comboyne ? They used to do a top dairymans lunch, and Elands was a big favourite of mine when we had overseas visitors. Apparentley it has the highest annual rainfall in NSW and sounds like they kept it up today.
Thanks for that story Mick now I’m really amped for our early Sunday ride!

It looks like I will be making the change as I can’t find one reason not to. My last hurdle is the trying to tell mrs.j that their is a differance other than ones yellow and ones green. Now how would you tackle that one!!!

Hi Corey I hope the healing is going well.
Since riding your klx I have pulled out every back issue of every mag I own and read up on them , apart from the rear spring being to soft, (aren’t they all) I can’t seem to find a reason not to say goodbye to the drz and look at a klx.
You have had yours for a while and I think you said it was an 08 ,is their anything your not happy with or think they have improved in the last 2 years, my budget is drz + $2000 which I think would get me a 08/09 with around 1000km and some bling. What are you thoughts mate??

I’m enjoying the second right now and feel pissed already (before 5pm.) I will have to slow down , riding at 7.30 tomorrow and going right through the wet red clay!!
I don’t think a hangover would help me stay vertical!!

Just cracked one of scotts brews which he bought up on our last ride at my place. I brew too but in kegs so I am always a bit hesitant trying a bottled brew , like a few things in life everyone likes their own brand!!
Scott I have just finished the first bottle and it’s bloody beautiful mate. Can you divulge the reciepe or is it like coffs single track, only for the privaleged!! Ha ha

Do you think it’s worth changing to harder pads for big rides on muddy days TB?

I just got another tip to improve my rear brake and it was to use 600 wet and dry on the disc and blow of the dust using an air compressor then use the muc-off disc cleaner then either fit new pads or scuff up your exsisting pads .I have just done it and had a test ride afterwards , their is a definate improvement.
I think with all the rain we are going to need as much rear brake feel as poss and hopefully this may help someone stay upright!

Another thing to check is the load of the dryer it could be as much as 13 amp and a jug is 12 amp so simple maths shows the problem on even a 20 amp circuit. in modern houses we always have the kitchen and laundry on seperate circuits for this reason.

It sounds like it’s going out on load , you should have a 20/16 amp breaker on each power circuit and it sounds like you have a seperate safty switch. This means that it’s bypassing the safty switch because their is no wiring fault but the max load each power circuit can take is 20/16 amps , you must be exeeding the circuit breaker amperage . Check that it is 20 and not 16 amp it should be written on the breaker , eg c20 or c16.
If it’s 16 amp you can increase it two 20 providing the wiring is 2.5mm this is a cheap job by any sparky. If it’s already 20 let me know?
