Thanks mate , I’m just trying to stop drinking the cheap Guinness at our local pub then all should be fine
There’s a little section we have just made that I always think of you on Murph , might be your name sake after tomorrow !!!
Well we have 12 starters and I have put bunting on all the new harder sections , it’s going to be pick a line day tomorrow !! Turn up at my shed 8 am if your keen !!
Another cracker ride on the north coast coming up , the bonus is I get an open pass from the missus to pre ride the loops and clean up the trails with STM as its all ‘for a good cause ‘

Murph the surf wrote:As stated I went with Metalgear brake pads
They are just about buggered after only 500kms
I know we have been riding a lot of wet shit lately
But I will be paying the 50-$60 for EBC as I normally do from now on
Lesson learnt (you get what you pay for)
Cheers
MurphGood to know Murph , I have been tempted but I’ll stick with the EBC too now mate
Hey Boze ya pyromaniac, have a great birthday , I can only imagine how the candles get lit on your cake
Enjoy mate

BellingenEv wrote:Food for thought, gotta say im tempted to go even bigger after hearing nicks Beta came with a 140, it sucks though that the sizing isn’t accurate, a 140 in a rut dug by 110s would have to get more traction, hey nick what brand was the 140?d do you still have it?Mine was a Michelin Cross comp 140/80 x18 from memory , I think the 80 is the percentage of depth in relation to width ( could be wrong again !!) ?? Either way it was a fat beefy tyre and did the job , I only replaced it because I was used to a narrower tyre !! These days I don’t really care that much if it has grip then it’s my job to scrape together the talent to make it work
After all Spud uses a Chinese swallow , rock hard, no size , almost bald rubber ring and smokes us all
The larger 140 on the rear seems to be the extreme riders choice, maybe with a mousse tube , I think that’s the equivalent to 8-10lb could be wrong ??
