Hi Smally and welcome to old bulls mate,
It was a top ride at Coffs on Sunday and you’ll get the chance to jump on a heap of other rides with great terrain and top blokes to have a few breath freshners with afterwards B)

Nundle and Noosa are 2 that I really like with challenging hills and some great single track , your WR would love it and after seeing the goon riding/ jumping at Coffs you would to :D

Just wondering Nick if this tool would work on bearings that are pushed out from the inside as one part of the link on my 2006 WR has a seat on the inside that the bearings match up to

    Buzz

The Crf is the same mate , one end of the link has a lip that the bearing sits on. I have been told to take out the needle bearings then put some heat on it ( apparently aluminum expands 3 times more than steel ) then tap it out from the opposite side. Then use the tool to press in the new bearing . I’ll let you know how this goes Buzz !!

    Update for Buzz :)

I ended up putting the link into my vice and heated it with a heat gun , I didn’t like the feel of knocking out the bearing case with a punch so I found out that a blind bearing removal tool fitted perfectly through the opposite side of the link and once expanded sat nicely on the bearing case and it tapped out easily.
The Motion pro tool then pressed in the new bearing in no time :)

Something that came up recently was that someone mentioned their braces slide down. I rightly or wrongly liken wearing my braces to snow boots. They are tight, tight enough that when I take them of I have big dents in my shin / legs   Seen others that dont have problems with theirs moving like Crash for example and he has the same indentations in his legs we he takes his off (Crash is always quick to get out of his kit  )
Just thought its something important worth sharing, they have to be tight enough to hold and brace like snow boots.

One thing Asterix will tell you straight away with the ultras that wearing them tight in the thigh can cause them to creep down and that some people try to remedy this by tightening the adjuster only making the problem worse.

I find that once the brace is on to get it tight then release the adjuster at the back and stretch your leg then lock it in, a 1/4 turn tighter on the adjuster and its perfect every time for a days riding. I don’t end up with indents on my legs and they never move , plus I’ve crash tested them too !!
