Big thanks to Burnsey and Al we spent allday clearing trails there were trees every 100 mtrs for the first 3 hours and it didnt get much better.
If you like flowing 3rd gear singles with no ruts or obsticles you will hate this ride.
Al had a good view of me flipping it in 4th on a tar road, luckily the chainsaw broke my fall and the bike looks the same as it did before, just hope we dont get too much rain this week.

A go pro was in order for that one ev it was a case of going going gone  my head sure does hurt after neally knocking my self out on a log I didn’t see it riped me clean off the bike

Awesome effort on the trails guys , sounds like a it of carnage too :woohoo:

I don’t think many places escaped the storms in March Ev , some of our best trails have holes the size of a ute and chest high trees down. Everyone will understand and deal with whatever its like , that’s why we like trail riding mate , keeps you on your toes !!!

    I can’t wait either way !!!! :woohoo:

I didn’t have a very good opinion of Facebook until late last year when I joined and realised I didn’t have to take pictures of my dinner or post every move I made but I could join groups such as Australian dirt bike , dirt action , AMA super cross , Motogp , trail rider , Trailzone , motocross madness , Coffs Harbour MX etc. etc etc. and get constant updates on the sport I love.

Theirs a lot of ways to use it , I also get updates on music I like , comedians and surfing so if you only want to be looking into your friends lives that’s up to you but I use it for my interests instead ;)

Hey Nick. Don’t forget to wash the degreaser out fully.
If the degreaser or kerro or bundy or what ever you use to get the old filter oil off, isn’t washed off completely, it will make the new oil run off and not stick to the filter as well.

I use Leftys filter cleaner kit then wash out with warm soapy water. Once it’s dry it goes in my shed tumble drier to knock out any fine dust that may be left.

You get pretty fussy cleaning air filter when owning a crf250 :D

A plastic bag of some description and a cable tie , or tie wire

Loosely tie the wire or cable tie around the bottom of the bag or a quarter of the way up and this holds the filter up , hang it from something and all excess oil drains to the bottom

Tried this and ended up with a sticky bag with a bit of oil in the bottom , then what ? Tip it back in the bottle ? Try to re oil a filter in the bag that’s sticking together ? leave it a while and drain it in the bottle or oil another filter with excess , if you use decent bags
i oil all my filters in plastic bags …. No need for gloves
I ended up in a mess with the bag which is why I went the bucket , seems ok so far but I can seem to get that filter oil stuck to everything so time will tell !! :D

Didn’t work for me Bob , sh#t stuck all over the bags in no time !
