You’d be proud seeing her have a go mateNick
Don’t get me started Nickj, the young bloke did an oil filter change on his CRF250 but squashed the seal when he put it back on. After a days ride and a major oil leak instead of taking it off and looking he just tightened the bolt a bit more when he seen the oil leak. Broken bolt hmmmmm.
Bugger  at least they are having a go , and better to learn now while dad still foots the bill hey
As long as they don’t stuff up the air filters , not that you need to on a Crf they love a regular valve change !!!!Nick

I looked at my air filter after the Transmoto 12 hour and tried to decide if it was salvageable
It was and the carbie boot was pristine , another tick for Motul air filter oil

Another wicked edit from Feet Up Films , loved it Nato
Trailboss wrote:Bundyroy wrote:Hello again all.It was a good event. Conditions were the complete opposite of last year. Dry and dusty was the order of the day. Course was very rough by the end. There were some good challenges and single trail. We managed to come 7th out of 62 in the pairs and 30th out of 190 odd outright. Very happy with that and very sore to boot. We just managed to beat the bloke who won ironman. Blows my mind how tough the ironmen must be. I was that far gone at the end of the day I could only drink 2 beers before hitting the sack. Then I couldn’t get to sleep until my brain had re-ridden two laps of the track. The pit crew reckons I did 3 laps in a row in my last stint. We were only doing two each but apparently I had lost the ability to count.
A bit dusty at the end of a long day
Two man team 30th outright   Smashed them Roy! That’s an amazing effort almost un old bull like
congratulations to you and your team mate as I said that’s an amazing effort
TB
Great result BundyRoy
you must be stuffed mate !!
Not sure it was un old bull like though TB , we had our best crack with no DNFs , BundyRoy was just a shit load better than some of us
LC and his team really impressed me for a bunch of loose units
they did a very proffessional job and rode so well they certainly were our benchmark to strive for during the race.
Galey and Mick were amazingly tough and stubborn and still flying to the end
Marty and Goc went out so hard too and were great to have a laugh with between laps
Apart from the rancid portaloo near our pit tents this was the best pit area to be in my opinion
:woohoo:

What a great event, the track was excellent with mostly single track and some grass track that got very rough by the end of the day !!
This has to be one of the most rewarding things I’ve done , it was a real test to keep going back out lap after lap as a team from dawn til dusk but we stayed consistent with times , did smooth transponder changes and never skipped a lap. I’m stoked with what we did and we placed better than we thought
We all had our crashes and mistakes to push through but as expected STM , Spud and Chris T were great team mates and kept going as hard as we could to the end.
Having a heap of other old bulls at the event made it a lot of fun and as usual it was great to catch up
Big drive back to Yamba tomorrow with smiles all round I think !!

$4500 on a computer
Could get a decent 2nd hand bike for that.

It’s just a ride in amongst a few mad bastards!I’m glad OBT wasn’t around before your bucks party, wedding & night of consummation! Can you imagine some of the posts that would of been coming through?
Only kidding mate! It is an exciting time – nothing like a race to get you all fired up!
Good luck to all of you & stay safe!

Trailraider wrote:Hi Nick,
Each rider gets a transponder bracket to put on the bike, it just cable ties on the bike and there is a quick release pin to take the transponder on and off. We put the bracket at the top of the fork legs, between the triple clamps.
One transponder per teamThanks for the info , sounds simple enough to do the changeovers
Cheers
Nick
Been talking to Spud today and we both weren’t sure how the transponder attached to the rider ? Anyone know ??
Cheers
