Nice footage of a top trail their mate
Yesterday was a top days trail riding and as always Spud puts together a varied loop. Although it was over 30 degrees the group of 4 moved along well so I didn’t feel I was over heating at any time.
It was great to do a ride again with a mate who had a big big off 3 years ago and hasn’t ridden since , he bought a new Yamaha Wr 250 f after watching some of the footage STM and I have been recording and still rides extremely well. He loves the bike and is just as quick as he was on his TE510.
I can’t wait to see some more footage of this top terrain , I think when Spud gets his GoPro sorted out he’ll have some gold too :woohoo:

They definitely work but it does restrict what else you can wear. If you wear pressure suit style armour they won’t go together but will with a roost guard. i did well over 100k’s yesterday on one of the hottest days of the year and felt fine all day so I doubt I will ever use it. You are welcome to have mine for the cost of postage if it will fit you.Cheers

Every time I get to ride a bike is a highlight here goes ….
1. Noosa- very physical , technical in spots and very fast at times. Everything a ride should be.
2. Cape York – Amazing route , great company , the only way to see the Tip ( IMO) .
3. Micks Backyard Bash- Moose lead a great loop with fun hills and top singles , the piss up one to remember. And Grass track for the 1st time made it for me.
Joint 3rd . Hills of Gold – loved the pine singles on the 250 more than I ever thought I would. Epic

Very interesting thread , great to see it all unfold step by step. I know Nick makes it look easy but I have learnt something from this , no matter what bike your riding maintainance and being aware of potential issues is essential.
I’m really looking forward to the next chapter
