Still looking for TB washer he dropped on the floor at Mungaranni pub but two ADV riders instead good excuse for a beer or two
I wear the Arai XD3 and it’s a great lid as is the Shoei Hornet , I was always told with road helmets you either have an Arai head or a Shoei head , so give them both a try. They are both top end with great comfort for all day riding.
I wore my Arai for 13 hours one day , as did TB with Shoei , and it felt good right to the end.The Rjays is a terrible lid , noisy , leaks , rattles. I’ve got one and never wear it.
Good luck and let us know what you get

Just got off the phone with Boulder and they have arrived in Birdsville after nearly 2 big days in the Simpson Desert. He sounded knackered and was keen for a rest and some beers. They repaired his gasket issue by making a new cork one and made a spare just in case this happened to Fish
Boulders bike stripped
They just got to the edge of the Simpson when Fishes gasket failed too, lucky they made that spare.
Going into NT
On the Plenty highway
Santa Teressa just out of Alice
A dip at Dalhousie Springs before crossing the Simpson.
The start of the Simpson
A long way to go !!
First nights camp
Sunset
Boulder on a dune
Saltpan
Just keeps going
Water at Big red
Birdsville pub for r&r and lords of beers !!

They are a great bike even in standard form , I’ve done a few mods and am really happy with mine , look forward to checking it out on the Bday ride
