Pity , I wanted to do this but the timing is poor ATM , the Cheese and kisses is down in Melbourne doing a course and the muts need to be fed and walked daily , meaning I could not get away to do this ride . Please do post up the next planned ride a few weeks out to allow us out of towners enough time to organize ourselves to get to Nundle and ride with you guys .

I did a lap of the Awaba MTB track this morning on my MTB , there was not much mud or water about , I don’t think the Watties got much rain this morning , should be Status Quo for tommorrow Murph !

I’d come except I have the WR set up in Adventure mode and it is too big an effort at this late stage to change it back to Enduro mode .

I had a problem with my WR front disc and pads last weekend , ordered new pads and disc from Metal gear via their web site around 10 am Wednesday and the postie knocked on my door with the order at 0730 Thursday (today ) I had the new disc and pads fitted less than 24 hrs after buying them ….. fricken awesome speedy service . The price was not too steep either , about $180 delivered for disc and pads + Priority post , that is a floating disc , not a solid one . I like to rely on my brakes a bit too much to fit something with less performance .

10/10 for my money , Metal Gear .

Same story , slightly diferent details can be heard around the country day after day , only way to stop it is to meet the potential buyer at a park or some other location and they don’t ride till the money is in your hand . Be ready to ride off if the potential buyer turns up and has friends along and looks suss , some will just punch you out and take the bike , so you gotta be ready for some shady characters .
