Dunno for sure Wigs , but TB asked me when I told him I could not do it , if I could do a couple of days , or a day , so you should be in luck , send him a PM about it .
My 2c worth ; Me , I would not even consider using a 150 HP bike as a commuter in Sydney , Why ? Speed cameras , Highway Patrols , traffic congestion and twisting the wrist with a bit of clear road ahead , I’d hold a licence about 3 weeks before it was toast and I owed the gummbymint shit loads of money in fines .
I’d look for a GS 500 or some thing similar for about $ 3K and get a nice adv bike for the remainder of the intended budget , flog the GS mercilessly cause you can 😆 and they will take it and beg for more and have the nice adv bike for when I could use it as it is designed to do and not wear it out dodging numbty heads in cages doing their make up .

Thanks for the MNC report Mick .
I , like Eagle , stayed at home , but I did because work  negated my desire to ride with the lure of 👿 $$$$$$$ , gotta pay for the toys and rego’s somehow .
As TB said , better the gear lever be malleable and get bent , to then be bent back into shape , than be hardened and
snap something and have to fetch a trailer to get home .

He was from ADB Leo , probably come out in a couple of months .
I have had a Shorai Lithium battery in my 950 SE for about 3 years , the thing I have found with lithium is .. you don’t charge them . Use the bike , turn it off , come back to it 3 months later and hit the button , bastard spins slowly , release the button and let rest 20 seconds with ignition on , hit the button again and usually the bike starts , if not repeat the process . They take some time to warm up when temps are below 10 or so degrees but do warm up when current is drawn via cranking the motor . Mine even survived a faulty regulator out in the Simpson Desert , with a little jump start from another 9×0 with a Shorai battery . If you buy anything cheap , well ….. trouble usually follows . My Shorai was about $250 . The std yuasa is about $125 .
Happy Birthday Brendan , I am having a beer in your honour right now mate , Cheers .
I have raced both Enduro on Motor bikes and on MTBs , as well as Cross Country and Down Hill MTB right up to National level .
I have built trails By hand with saw and rake , that were used for State rounds in MTB cross Country , but , I don’t like Earth moving machinery made trails .
We have a MTB park here in Newcastle that was rearranged by Glenn Jacobs with machines , it now is very low on fun factor for me because it is so sanatized and smoothed over . I know a lot of this is to remove the issue of erosion from the area as much as possible , but erosion is a natural occurance and adds to the surprise factor when riding these trails . Land management teams want to control everything right down to where each grain of dirt is at all times . Let nature provide the setting and let me ride it is all I ask  . I am lucky I have an area about 500m from my front door that is riddled with Natural terrain trails that I ride regularly on my MTB legally . If I had to only ride Glenrock ( The Glenn Jacobs designed ride park ) I would have hung up the MTB and gone to do some thing else . One mans passion is anothers poison .
Lookin’ good Pezz , mate , you’re an inspiring leader of the scrap reclaimers .
.
Welcome JMB , those 640 ADV’s are pearlers , I did 50,000 km on one over 2 1/2 years after buying it new in 07 , Upgraded to a 950 SE in early 09 and let the 640 go , wish I still had it now , 100 hp and 200 kg can be a liability at times .
I’ll be out in the Corner Country come late August with a couple of mates , we will sign the Old Bulls wall at the Corner Store , Your mates can’t sign it unless they join up
.
See ya out in the dust some time
.
I was in Powersports Yamaha at Morriset this arvo , they have a grey Ten on the floor , got to admit it looks better in the flesh than in pics .
The new Huskies look absolutely horn too , I got a stiffie over the 501 FE
.
Happy Birthday Crash , Have a most excellent evening
.
Just a big thanks to TB and the running crew
, thanks for making it all run sweetly and flow well .
No thanks to Huey for the weather , cold and wet is not my favourite riding situation  .
Thanks to the Group of guys I rode with , we did it quick and without fuss , great fun to be with , Jeffro , Pete and Bill
cheers guys .
I only had my phone camera and a handy cam with me and due to the weather only got the phone camera out at stops , so only 2 pics from me .
Thursday night in Jindy pub .
Saturday morning at Dinner Plain
Just like watching any MX (with the sound muted)
Watching any bike riding is not for me , I like to ride , not watch .
