lol ! I did exactly the same thing about a month ago (threw the bike down and stormed away). Don’t worry its a woman thing.
Tell her she should get back on it. She’ll do fine. Plus she can swear at it and it will never answer back ;-)

    😆 😆 😆
No offence taken what so ever Murph. That ride WAS slow

Superb learning experience for me though. But if you come along expecting a normal Murph pace….well you’ll be doing a lot of waiting at the corners wont you .

Oh and I sooo don’t expect to be doing gr 2-3 all day thats not fair on you guys. Give me a couple of hours on some tight singles then you blokes (and rach cause you know you will want too rach!) should shoot off and do some hard stuff.
I seriously doubt that my +1 will sweep. If he has to follow me all day there is likely to be a death on the ride. ;)

I’m a tiny bit faster now I don’t drop the bike every 5mins   As long as we’re doing tracks like the last time I’ll be fine to be at the back.

You’re a brave man taking me again after that first experience though.

Oh don’t worry when I start yelling ‘wtf Roy!!!’ you’ll know the track is getting a bit hard 😆

Don’t worry about splitting the group. I’m the only one that can’t do gr 4-5. Rach is crazy she’ll have a crack at it

I’ll just cruise along until it gets too hard and take a break where I stop. Just make sure you come BACK for me !!

I’ve been told I’m no longer a ‘soil sampler’ as I don’t drop the bike as much. No my name has changed to ‘crash bandicoot’ bc I get through the hard stuff only to stack it on the easy track  :pinch:

Knocked myself clean out last weekend riding with Davis. Easy corner that we had already ridden too! Wrapped my neck around a tree    NO IDEA how I managed it but I have the bruises under my chin to prove that I did it. PLUS the weekend bf THAT whiskey and I had a run in on a hill that resulted in me sliding up the hill under the bike! Well it was either that or I was going to take her out .She decided half way up the hill to change to the line I was riding but didn’t realize I was going as fast as I was so it was either crash into her or lock up the brakes and slide.

Someone seriously needs to start following me with a gopro…..youtube here I come

Hope his surgery went ok. He’s made a real mess of himself this time.

Does anyone know if a neck brace would have helped?

    ooowww!

Was watching it with the other half bc he always gets to see the riders come in with the breaks but never HOW they happen.

I was sticking up for you ,saying ‘look he’s not even going that fast’, ‘he’s taking those corners sensibly’.

Thought you might come off when you went off the track.

    Nice stack :pinch:

Boys you CANT do sunday (mothers day) come on be home for your mums / wives.

I think a few guys on here (from the mountains) have ridden with my +1 (Troy Davis). Pretty sure Chris has ridden with him. Would have been few years ago.

Can’t wait to see him try and tackle some of your hills.

Ok just emailed them asking to be put in the ‘girls’ section :woohoo: :woohoo:
Frankly I don’t care if I’m in with the boys though. Been married for 12 yrs nothing I haven’t seen, heard, or smelt before

Accomodation for the GIRLS!!!

I just got off the phone with the Mt Seaview people and sorted out some accomodation. I discussed that there might be a few girls going and if it was possible to have an area for us (No offence guys but…..im sure you all understand).

They have kindly penciled in one of the small bunk houses for us IF there are a few of us (girls that is) that would like to have our own area. When you call, just let them know that you would like to be in the girls bunkhouse and it can be sorted. B)

I checked about the resort accomodation option, but its 3km away from the camping area. :pinch:

Right from what you say about her I agree with Rach. Think of what you would buy a similarly sized bloke and buy that!

As she is young (bless her youthful cotten socks  ) and I’m assuming her hips haven’t had the stress of multiple child births , why not get a two stroke? you might find something for 2k?

She sounds like a firecracker and should take to it no problems ;). What sort of riding do you do? She is going to get the shits if her bike can’t handle the stuff that you do so think about that.

Plus I’m sure you guys have noticed that ladies bottoms tend to come with a bit more ‘padding’ so seats that boys find hard and uncomfortable aren’t that bad to us…….or maybe thats just my fat arse

good on you for posting that! Everyone does it just not many admit to it ;)

Beware the 5th ride I say. I snapped the top of my finger clean backwards on my 5th ride (wrapped it backwards around the clutch lever).

    That looks awesome!

I just had to wait 5wks for a sticker kit from slovakia (cheapest on ebay). Good quality but um a bit too bling.

Love the white on the ktm

Boys you need some more info here….

5 ‘1 is she small framed or more athletic?

If you don’t mind me asking how old is she?? I’m 32 but after 4hrs on a dirt bike a feel like I’m 80! But if she is nice and young (anything younger than me ;) her body could probably take a bit more punishment so you could think of other bikes?

Do you want something that is soft and comfy so she can sit down for most of the ride?

Unless you are an amazingly wonderful boyfriend she is going to have to pick it up herself. So put your bike on the ground and make her pick it up by herself then wait for the feedback ;)

What ever you pick she needs to be able to put her foot flat on the ground with dirt boots on. Even if that means lowering and cutting into the seat.
We ladies like to be able to feel out feet firmly on the ground when we stop.
Oh and remind her that she has to swing her leg over the bike with another 1.5 kg on her foot.

there MUST be an electric start! Unless of course you want to start it for her every time :pinch:

$2K?? How much do you love her?? throw in some extra cash buddy.

Very excited to hear that there might be another dirty chic hitting the trails soon. Alyssa has a nice ‘girls loop’ up at cessnock that we would be more than happy to take her on.
oh and there are few extra secret girls tips we can give her too lol.

put some new stickers on the Husky yesterday.

Seeing as hubby wasn’t home I put the bike in the lounge room ;) 👿 to keep it nice and dry while I put the new stickers on.
