lucky for me I forgot my helmet for the birthday ride and had to stop in and buy one on the way there! So I’ve already got one sitting in the cupboard lol.

James I crashed at low speed few months ago and got some nasty concussion. Was knocked out for about 10min and was ‘out of it’ for a good few weeks.

I DID NOT retire or scrap the helmet :whistle: :pinch: as it showed no signs of being damaged apart from the tinest spot on the inside foam where it apears to have been compressed from my hair clip (not a problem for blokes I know).

I went riding with said helmet today…..had a bit of a backwards sliding stack and basically tripped back and hit my head in the same spot on a rock. There is very little damage to the outside of the helmet BUT…….It didn’t even feel like the helmet was there when I hit my head and it bloody hurt. If I had of had a decent stack it wouldn’t of protected my head one bit.

Its a tough choice to can a helmet and I really really don’t want too. But if it is hard enough to concuss you it has to go because I speak from experience that the next stack will hurt EVEN more
