wow great find! She’ll love the ttr. Oh and tip on cutting out the seat foam. What is comfortable for a lady is not so comfortable for a guy so don’t worry if you think the seat will kill her but she says its fine ;)

Will she be coming to the birthday bash?

Thanks guys. I know my armour and boots have saved me soooo many times. hmmm maybe if I stop falling off protection wont be so much of an issue

Once I get your article snowy I’ll email it to the Minister for finance.

Now can you write one about why its important to have a road bike AND a dirt bike and maybe a trials bike ….for cross training purposes  to improve my skills and saftey of course

. If I can back it up with research I can sell it to the boss no problems

Holy crap Razzle your gear is going to be almost as valuable as your bike!! 😆 You’re totally right Mt guys with the good gear are the ones that walk away rather than getting carted away via ambulance (or riding 30 plus kms THEN going to the hospital   ;) )

I have the o’neal body armour suit all in one and fox roost deflector for when its too hot to wear the all in one.

Looking at the two neck braces, EVS and Leatt, there is quite a bit more engineering that has gone into the Leatt. Neither is going to stop your head hitting the ground but I think the Leatt is more likely to stop the neck whip effect that tends to kill you/ cause a lot of injury. From what I can see of the EVS it wont be much better than one of those soft neck guards unless you get the $200 leatt knock off.
Maybe I’ll start with the basics. I don’t really travel at high speeds or do anything that challanging to be honest. But this picture from Toby Price’s facebook page got me thinking

Thanks for that. Just pm Snowy for a copy of his paper.

The leatt ones cost a bomb but if they work its worth it. I actually need something to keep my head up while I’m riding. The trials guys said that if you can see your front guard you’re looking down too much.
Will have to go into a big shop and try some on.

anyone have any issues with them interfering with thier armour?

wow! So worth getting these kids learning early.

Just went and bought one of my daughters a helmet today. She’s pretty keen to learn so we’re off to pacific park next sunday to see how she goes. Really hoping she loves it. fingers crossed.

oh we are soooo there then! I’m keen to see how the girls like dirtbikes.

Horses smell lovely :P . I’d sell my bike in 2 seconds if it meant I could have a horse.

My son is going to be spewing that he wont be able to have a go (silly bugger jumped off a cubby house and broke his arm in two places).

hmmm my hubby is away next weekend, I’d have to take the whole tribe with me…. so its a good opportunity to get my kids on a motorbike 👿
After trying the trials bikes I’m pretty keen to get my youngest to learn to ride on one of them (after he is out of plaster that is  ) One of my three girls is keen to try too (mainly bc we said she couldn’t have a horse  ).

I might see you there next sunday maybe ;)

Can’t drive a manual car to save my life though

Just putting together a cd for the trip— lots of doris day, Frank Sinatra and classical music. Chris will love it wont he? ;)
