I have always liked the look of these but have been unsure because i have never seen one on the road.Does anyone have any expierance with these?

I made one several years ago, copied it from a another make.It carried my WR400 pretty easily on the back of my Old Magna. The shocks had to be uprated I had air adjustables. I like them for their simplicity but would not use them for carrying a bigger bike again. I think they are more suited to the smaller kids bikes. They would work best if fitted to a large 4×4.

Thats my opinion from my experience – personally Id prefer a ute.

Kylie I have heard of people actually drilling a lot of 6mm holes in the foam around the area where you sit works. Never tried it but may be worth a go if the added foam makes it a bit to tall for you.

That would be sweet Ollie, if you can get us to the Old Cost road,I can get us home from there.

Proposed route for a great loop.

Bago into Cowarra, over Jolly nose to Lake Cathie(will need Puddles input here on how to get to Port Macquarie from Lake Cathie with minimal tar).Maybe a beach run.

Over Ferry and up Plommer road, turn into Limeburners and do Krams loop. Then up to Crescent Head pub for lunch and a run up the beach towards Hat head before returning to Maria river to cross the highway, onto the old Coast road.Thence back via Rollands Plains via Bull’s place and up to Bellangry and then down to Beechwood and Wauchope, all up about 240km.
Epic loop with a bit of everything. :woohoo:

Holy Poop  I better make sure I have my soft seat for the Gasgas, thats an epic loop with not to much Tar by the sounds of it B)

Yesterdays loop has at least 40km of tar but I think I can cut a bit of that out with Kram and Ollies help.Instead of crossing back over the ferry we would go up the Maria river road and cut across into Kundabung and back to Wauchope that way adding a heap more Km’s.

Yeah Mick Kram and I preroad the trails and got permission from one of the land owners It would make an awsome ride. You could even use my olds place as a fuel/Food stop instead of going into south Kempsey. I think Fossils input would be very useful as well. I can get us to Old coast rd on the Pacific Hwy no problems at all.

Ha ha yeh I did a similar thing at my Olds one weekend. Told the old man I was only going for a short ride to check out some tracks as I only had a half tank of fuel. The tracks got more and more interesting and I found myself on reserve at the furthest point from home.Soon found out that reserve on the Gasgas is only good for about 5 kays  I had to hide the bike in the bush and hitch Hike 15 kays up Cresent head rd to the olds place. The ol man was peaking out and I got an absolute earful when we drove back to pick the bike up.

Normally I don’t send or forward these, but even by my standards, it was a bit different. I want all of my friends to feel what I felt when I read it. Hope it touches your heart as it did mine.

    A MOTHERS LOVE

A little boy says to his mother,”Mommy, how come I’m black and you’re white?”

His mother replied, “Don’t even go there! From what I remember about that party, you’re fucking lucky you don’t bark!
