An Irishman goes to the Doctor with botty problems….

‘Dactor, it’s me ahrse.I’d like ya ta teyk a look, if ya woot’.

So the doctor gets him to drop his pants and takes a look.

‘Incredible’, he says, ‘there is a £20 note lodged up here.’

Tentatively he eases the twenty out of the man’s bottom, and then a £10 note appears.

‘This is amazing!’ exclaims the Doctor. ”What do you want me to do?’

‘Well fur gadness sake teyk it out, man!’ shrieks the patient.

The doctor pulls out the tenner and another twenty appears, and another and another and another, etc…..

Finally the last bill comes out and no more appear.

‘Ah Dactor, tank ya koindly, dat’s moch batter. Just out of interest, how moch was in dare den?’

The Doctor counts the pile of cash and says ‘£1,990 exactly.’
‘Ah, dat’d be roit,” says the Irishman

    (Wait for it…………scroll down.)

    ‘I knew I wasn’t feeling two grand.’

done all of that the tank filter was good and tap was ok also checked the cap and it is not blocked carby cleaned the lot so where do i go from here

I think we have covered everything, A carby is a pretty basic item, all I can suggest is to recheck the fuel supply from the carby inlet to the needle and seat, making sure all of the passages are clear, maybe use a small piece of flexible nylon down the passage. Other than that, you may have to bite the bullet and let a mechanic have a look at it.

Hope it goes well for you

BTW here is a exploded view it may help diagnose any problems

i have no idea it looks ok to me

Is the tank fuel cap ok Ie no restrictions? you have to have a good airflow as well, try it with the cap removed, also see if you can fill a litre bottle with fuel from the hose. Caltex 98 doesnt have Ethanol, should be good,as rocket said it is definatley a fuel supply problem, is the filter in the tank Ok? just guessing now,did you try carby cleaner?

tried blowing thru the fuel line but it was very hard i mean very hard but it did stop at 45 degrees so is it meant to be that hard

No mate should be able to blow thru it fairly easily. Grab a can of carby cleaner and blow thru all of the jets and air passages. Then get some compressed air with a nozzle and blow thru that with your compressed air.also check all your removed jets and make sure you can see daylight thru them and that they are not obstructed.

with the bowl removed and the needle and seat all back together blow thru it again with your mouth and move the floats up and down, you should be able to control the flow of air. let us know how you go B)
