Thanks Fathead ,Pivot pegz and of course OBT for organising such a fantastic deal

welcome mate, It was good to see another 300 Gasgas at Louee making it 3 in total from our bunch
Hope to catchup with you again soon.
Ollie
With standard gearing (13/48) and a six speed box the Gasgas goes pretty good on the transport sections. I dont know why everybike hasnt got a 6th gear

If the polka dot one is anything to go by The next should be a ripper :woohoo:
No style Ollie
Im with Axel on that one as well Moto, I try and run 40:1 but I use a semi synthetic not full synthetic.
Ollie
Hope all goes well for you mate
It is shoulder surgery isnt it? Not surgery to remove a infamous jersey

My mates 300 exc-e is a very nice bike with the sort of power that I like (bottom end grunt) but the back end kick got me and him a few times. Maybe its a tuning thing I dont know? Funny thing I didnt notice it to bad when I was riding Bulls 525,(probably because I was enjoying the engine to much :woohoo: )

Quote:Live On PDS i say. If it aint broke dont fix it. This is one of the things i love about my KTM. No high maintenance linkages! Is there really any advantage to having the linkage?slamming into logs and and sharp square edged holes, bigtime pogo stick effect. I have two ktms with PDS, maybe the newer ones with the more complex valving isnt so much of an issue, although a mates 300exc-e did the same thing. My money is on PDS going in the very near future.

Quote:The weekend looks like it could be great for a ride, half thinking about woosing out and taking the 4 banger as the smoker seems to run rich (rough) at lower RPM’s off the pipe and it’s annoying.Grab some jets and have a fiddle Moto. Go one leaner on the pilot and one higher on the clip. It took me several rides to get the gasser sorted and the way I like it. Also remember the temp at the moment is a bit cooler so if it is a hot day the bike will run even richer.

There is a Bago ride gaining momentum this Sunday,I think Itsagas and the Rat are hitting the bush here early Sunday.I’m keen if something is on. Went for a ride yesterday through the Maria State Forest. It was awesome. Had a ball sliding about in the mud.
Hey Mark, dont forget to take a bush saw with you
