    The Story of Four Horse

A man asked an American Indian what was his wife’s name.

He replied, “She called Four Horse”.

The man said, “That’s an unusual name for your wife.

    What does it mean?”

The Old Indian answered, “It old Indian Name. It mean,

    NAG, NAG, NAG, NAG!

No problems Boyz, I think they are a heap better design than the ballards ones and I thought the gift would come in handy.

If some one could post up a photy that would be awsome ;)

Wow what a ride B) Im glad I got to go on this one even though I only Gave Scott short notice he welcomed me along no problems at all. I arrived at the beach meeting place about 1/2 an hour earlier. I started getting my gear all sorted when Scott arrived and he then proceeded to help unload the Gasser. 10 minutes or so later the familiar sound of 8-9 big bore 4 strokes could be heard winding thru the streets to the meeting point. after meeting and greeting everyone we had a quick photy session before we headed off. I decided to do sweep duties first up and donned the Fluro vest. We got stuck into some fast single trail and it wasnt long before we had a break to make sure everything was going Ok. Champo and I waited a bit for the others to clear out as he said I would really enjoy this next bit,he wasnt wrong!! It was single track Nirvana we were railing corners and hitting off cambers flat out. Unfortunatley Darren on the XR4 went a bit to close to a tree and smashed his brake lever into a Pretzel shape. With a bit of pushing and pulling using tyre levers and ring spanners we managed to get it into something semi usable. We set off again until we got to a main intersection, mikes bike was playing up,so they drained the fuel from the carb,it was just after completing that operation that we noticed Toms rear was flat, bugger no one had a spare rear tube so it had to be a heavy duty front supplied courtesy of Dean. We got it all together pretty quickly after having a bit of an issue with the rim tape and were finally back on the go. I swapped bikes with Dean, he had my 300 while I had a go on his 450 Gasser. I really was impressed withe flexability of the engine and the big lounge chair of a seat. A very nice bike to ride.Dean was having fun on my 300 but was having issues with the rear brake as they are setup fairly touchy as I like to brake steer in the single track. We swapped back and thenhit some more tight single I followed Darren again up a creek bank, unfortunatley for him he picked the deepest rut and this time turned his gear lever into a pretzel,he wasnt having a good run. I came around a corner to see Dean in all sorts of distress he had hit a false neutral coming out of another creek bank and rolled back and sandwiched himself between his bike and a tree, his rear subframe had a distinct twist about it :S I handed over the sweep duties to Dean at this point.Scott led us down some more hills and under and over some fallen trees. I was impressed with the way mike rode over this big slippery angled tree feet up trials style very impressive.some more trails, then into some open farm land I saw Moto have a bit of a moment on some off camber stuff and he was hot on Scotts rear wheel, I was right behind him,Moto went as corner man then I chased Scotty who was fair hammering, when we finally came out onto a main Rd I let out a little :woohoo: Fricken Awsome fun. We then headed down to the beach where we had a quick blast along the waters edge before heading to the pub.
The feed was awsome for $10 bucks and I think the boys were salavating at the sight of the sweet little waitress and cute barmaids. We also met Uncle Fester and Corey at the Pub who were going to join us for the afternoon session. We headed down the tar road all ready to get into it,the pace had picked up again, amazing what one Schooner of beer will do.We rode over some of the tracks we did in the morning only in reverse, mike had taken over the sweep duties and was doing well, Moto and Tom(I think) overshot the cornerman and headed off on their own way until Scott chased them down and rounded them up. Champo and I were having a redhot go in the tight stuff and I was glad I was on a two stroke as my arms would have turned to jelly otherwise. The pace was getting pretty quick when I came up to this rutted uphill I took the outside line and didnt have a problem until I went past Scotty who was laying in vines in a rather distressed state. It as only afer he had removed his helmet did we realise that he nearly had his head ripped off by a wait a while vine. It looked pretty sore and was the worst I had ever seen, after a quick cleanup photy session and a all clear from our nurse, we thought it best to head home.
Scott headed back to his place for a clean up while the boys headed back to the resort for a beer and shower/swim. We all headed over to Scotts place where he had Nibblies all set out and he best home brew Ive ever tasted, very Noice B) $85 bucks worth of Pizza was ordered and we had a good ol chat and laugh about the days proceedings. I headed off at about 8:30 PM back to Cresent Head where I slept like a baby.
Thanks Scott for the great day out and the superb organisation of the whole day you are a B) legend.Hope to catch up with you and the other boys again soon.

    cheers
