I also failed to mention that the RMX fuel tap is hopeless at sealing off fully the flow of fuel and it only takes a very small weep from the needle and seat to allow fuel to enter the crankcase.Leave it long enough and you wont get it started without pulling the head and barrel off and drying it out. Thats speaking from experience!! You have to remove the fuel hose and put a plug in it.

good to see you were able to complete the ride Mick;)

With the Tyre I would still be using it,maybe put a Vulcanizing patch on the inside and a dab of black silastic on the outside, shouldnt give you any problems

Teza, I should also add that during the colder months the air is Denser so your bike will run a bit leaner, you could richen up your pilot 1 size and or wind in on your air screw

    cheers OllieB)

I find with the two strokes especially the bigger capacity ones the trick is to turn on your fuel and pull the choke, then tip it on its side for a couple of seconds until fuel flows out the overflow. Then give it a man Kick with a touch of throttle, works good most of the time. The other issue with the RMX is the compression has to be pretty good otherwise it may take some kicking.

    Hope that works for ya

    URGENT WARNING!!!

I just received this and thought I’d better forward it straight away. I’m not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had a close call yesterday.

I walked into Bunning’s hardware at lunchtime, wandered down the timber aisle and some idiot dressed in a red shirt with a green apron on, asked me if I wanted decking. Fortunately, I got the first half dozen punches in and sorted the idiot out.

Those less suspecting might not be so lucky. Spread this warning on to all your friends.

Ollie there is a couple of ways, but through some private property and it does depend on how much rain we’ve had. Plomer Rd is in fine form at the moment.[/quote]

beauty,The people who own the property bike friendly? If permission is gained obviously. The closest way to get into Maria is down thru Wortley drive or the Eastern trail, have you done this before Kram? Husky 310 Nice!!B)

Blue I would liken Bulls Motocool system to the Viagara.

It will keep your bike goinging harder for longer!!:woohoo:

and honestly 12 points of measurement on a single cylinder engine is a shitload. The next best thing for measurement would be Thermography. The real test is the seat of the pants testing and this can be seen on Daves young fella’s bike, I hope you dont mind me saying this Dave, The officials made him strip his 65 down to see why it was going so hard and strong thinking he had done something illegal, they couldnt find anything but still wouldnt let him race because they thought he was somehow cheating:blink: It was the cooling system!! More proof is the fact that he can get such a long service out of a piston and ring set and no stator issues which is a big problem with these little bikes.

    just my 2c

bring on the technology and good ol aussie ingenuity I say

I get seals from Pyramid parts for $17 a set and it only takes 10 minutes to put them in:unsure: Hope your happy with them Boulder, let us know your thoughts after your next ride;)
