I promised to take some Newbies for a run on Saturday Murph so may see you out there:cheer: Probably grade 3,starting from Maculata.

I have had the Pivot Pegz fitted to both My old 04 WR450 and transferred them over to the GasGas 300 with only a small mod needed for them to fit (there you go bruce you can get yourself a GasGas!!
) I have found that they give me more grip as I have limited grip with my dodgy hand and find these really help. The only problem that I have really encountered is that sometimes when you want to put your foot down for a “safety Dab” The pegs dont want to let go:laugh:
Maintenance wise I cant fault them I give them a quick spray of WD or Lanolin and they are good to go. I plan on keeping them for my next bike as well, thanks to the guys at Pivot Pegs, good effortB)

Bill has explained and shown me some of the mods he has done and some of the things that the manufacturers do is not to do with efficiencies more to save them a dollar, this also includes cars trucks etc. From what I could gather the more highly stressed engines benefit the most like the small 2 stroke minis and 250 four strokes but all bikes would see some benefit.

That was my thought also but I don’t like the idea of having an oversize bolt unless I can still get a magnetic insert for it.

You can make your own magnetic plug pretty easy, just drill out the bolt, press fit the rare earth magnet(get from specialist magnet suppliers) and voila!

Trent if you want it fixed properly, the best bet is to take the engine out of the frame and put it in the hands of a “reputable Engineering mob” sorry mate but thats the way it has to be. 3bond is great stuff but only a temporary fix
Ollie
That would be nice:laugh: My son is getting p#@ssed off at me because Im using his ATM:laugh:
PS did you get all the stuff I left for you at Bills?
Ollie
Well there you go Dave,I put that there months ago wondering how long it would take for someone to pick it up:laugh:
I saw him ride a Fonda in the 250’s at Phillip Island, wow:woohoo: :woohoo: Mr smooth He will be a GP champion soon.

Hey Ollie

No Probs mate, Knowing the Low life scum, they wouldnt have a day job and would probably be attempting it during business hours:angry: Lucky I have a killer Moggy ready to pounce:woohoo:

Yep fair enough, I know a lot of speedway riders (Greenhills,my old track)who will only use Penrite HPR 10 Gas. I just think this site offers everyone an idea of what types of oil (or equivalents) can be used. Use it if you want,up to you,I was just putting it out there to let people know that you dont necessarily have to use a motorcycle specific oil to do the same jobB)
Ollie
That would have to be someones worst nightmare, especially being so far from Home:( Hope you get thru it mate.
Sometimes you just have to tone it down,it could quite easily happen here as well,no sense in going 110%,not worth it.
Ollie
Husky do you have a Photy of them fitted to the 610?
