I have found the Caltex revtec semi synthetic a good oil and also Penrite fully synthetic but its $24 a litre:angry:

I have never used the kickstart to get my WR running. Am I doing it harm by cold starting with the electric leg?
When cold and you are cranking it you put a lot of drain on the battery and cables etc. Also the Yamaha starters have been known to go bang on the odd occassion. Im no expert but for peace of mind I would use the kicker to start with from cold, starts up easily anyway;)

Hot air gun jack or may be your wifes hair dryer on high will work:laugh:

Where did you get this info from as I have read every owners manual my bike came with and I can’t find that info anywhere.
Cant remember now The Wr is long gone. May have been a dealer or another forum. It was just something that I always did as well. Also the battery is not real big.

Interesting – I never knew this !
Have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in “illegal immigrants” and add a few more letters, it spells out: ‘Fuck off and go home you benefit grabbing, kid producing, violent, non-English speaking cocksuckers and take those hairy faced, sandal wearing, bomb making, goat fucking, mutton eating, smelly rag head bastards with you.’
How weird is that ??
