    thats inspired me into song…..

Nick Cave and the bad Sailors…rooted right hand

Take a litle walk to the edge of hornsby
    Go across the tracks
South of where the eagle looms,
    like a bird of doom
    As he scratches his crack
Where secrets lie in the navy files,
    about the hummer boy
    Hey man, you know
    you’re never coming back
In the bush, over the bridge,
up them hills, is often where he stacks
    On a gathering storm comes
    an old chubby man
In a dusty black coat with
    a rooted right hand

He’ll wrap you in his arms,
tell you that you’ve been a good boy
    He’ll rekindle all the dreams
it took the navy a lifetime to destroy
He’ll ride deep into the hole,
    roost your shrinking soul
    Hey buddy, you know you’ve
    got another rear flat
    He’s a god, he’s a man,
    he’s a ghost, he’s a gasgas rider
    They’re whispering his name
    through this old bull land
    But hidden in his coat
    is a rooted right hand

    You need cheap tyres?
    He’ll get you some
You ain’t got no filter? He’ll get you one
    He ain’t got no self-respect,
He looks like a crazed insect
    Well don’t you worry buddy,
    cause here he comes
Through the docks and the warfs
carrying rump andoil from the sump
A large shadow is cast wherever he stands
    Stacks of retreads in his
    rooted right hand

(Ollie plays his Organ solo)

YOU F$#KING IJIT:laugh: nice play on words there Spidy:laugh: My missus and daughter are looking at me real strange:blush:

    Cheers my insect brother!!

Why do you think its the rim lock because I remember you getting two flats on the RMX in the Watagans since I have known you and you didn’t swap rim locks from bikes did ya

Try those michelin tubes mate or at least have a look at one instead of just writing it of because I suggested it or its a michelin product :P Just a thought buddy

I like Moto’s take on it

I too have noticed that you seem to get a few flats Ollie. I put it down to the fact that you can’t ride and are too tight arse to buy a new tube so probably have 30 pathces on the rear alone or have made your own polyolliemololaphin pharoah’s ear wax substance to hold them together :P:laugh:

    TB

Trust me it was the Rimlock I will try and get a photy of the piece of crap. The RMX flats were both the same day as well. Pinch flat on the Ultra heavy duty front done whilst hammering down that rocky section on the Koala trail. The second one was on the replacement standard front tube after hitting another rock heading out to boulders hill. If Moto ever gets a flat on the trail that would be entertaing to watch him repair it:laugh: I am still testing the polyolliemololaphin pharoah’s ear wax but it should hit the stores real soon:laugh:

Ok So I Just went down to the Garage and pulled off the rear wheel and tyre. I inspected the tube and as I had suspected the stupid Poxy rimlock had punctured the tyre. The patch was still in place and holding strong. I am still waiting for my bag of goodies to arrive from Melbourne which includes a new rimlock. Why do manufacturers put obviously inferior components on a motor cycle:angry: It only takes a few occurances and then the word gets out and the manufacturer starts getting a bad wrap, cant be good for sales:dry:
Next job is to pull my forks out in preperation for the new springs and seals.

    cheers Ollie

I normaly run bridgestone ultra heavy duty tubes, but the tube in the rear of the Gasgas is the standard heavy duty, with a patch on it from Bulls place. I havnt pulled the tyre off yet to check it out,but I was running 10 PSI in the rear We did this big rocky uphill out of the basin when I noticed the flat:( Gassaers also come with the most pathetic rimlocks ever invented (Michelin by the way) so It could have been that as well. I have ordered a new one to replace it. so when I can get down the garage and check it out I will let ya’s know.

I must admit I have been having a shite run with the flats:(

Deta full sintered are Good, I have a set in the Gasser ATM, The Pads I would steer clear of are the Pads distributed by Pyramid parts(wear out in less than 1 decent ride and potential to ruin your new rear disk as well:angry: ) also the $2.99 pads with the $11 Postage are not real good either.
