I have seen this bike and ridden with Pdub on a few occasions and can vouch for its incredible presentation and reliabilityB) It tractors up anything and would make a very good bike for someone with all of the hard work already done. $4750 is bloody good value

Gyday Rocket, I have the 2001 Ford Courier on gas as well. They are a good little car and does everything I ask of it. The only real problem I can think of is it is a bit under powered. I had a whine in the diff at the 80k mark but found a complete replacement on Ebay for $250.

No worries, there yours. I had a feeling you or Ollie would take them. I,d love to keep them but they are just sitting collecting dust and the missus is onto me to cull a bit of the bike paraphernalia.
Thanks Toby:laugh: I am in the same predicament,I probably have all of those old sidetrack as well as ADB and god forbid trail and track:laugh: going back about 25 years. The missus has given up telling me to get rid of them:laugh: Funny thing I got a Subscription for Christmas from her:laugh:

Does the bike require a battery for them to work chris or can they be powered from the lighting circuit on a non battery type bike?

TB

So Chris can they be wired into the power circuit of a bike that doesnt have a battery?

Bruce I dont think the plug will cause your problems although I wouldnt be using the B8es try the B8EGV far superior. I still think it may be an over supply of fuel.

Bruce this is a long shot but what is the exhaust packing like? My initial thoughts were the float level, I would go down another .5 of a mm as you only really need the max bowl level when WFT. Give it a try you never know

– Seems as though a ex enduro gun Dont Know about the Gun Bit:blink: (that has enough trophies he says) Where did I say this:unsure: had a retread that wasnt handling the conditions Because it was worn out after 12 rides and started what was a 2 hr + tyre change and sobber I was told. you were told wrong it was at least 4 Hours As it was relayed to me, he removed the tyre and fitted the new retread only to pinch the tube  , Mick Pinched the Tube:ohmy: the tube was removed and a patch readied to be applied, he was heard to tell people that the glue had to dry before the patch is applied (must knows his stuff  ) The glue dried and the patch was applied, tube fitted to the tyre, tyre to the rim and inflated only to go flat straight away. The tube was removed from the tyre and it was found that the patch had fallen of because the gun had forgotten to remove the plastic/foil backing on the patch   You got all of that bit wrong
So the patch was correctly fitted (plastic backing removed   ) Tyre fitted and inflated, the wheel was fitted to the bike only to find that the chain would drive on the disc, yes he fitted they wheel the wrong way around / back to front   A SLIGHT Lapse of Concenntration:silly: . As someone who shall remain nameless said ” its explains why the Collins Class Submarines are the way they are”

Thanks Bill Kez Puddles and all of the ladies for the huge effort that went into this weekend awsome effort.
The riding was Primo although a bit slick in a few places:woohoo: Thanks P-Dub for the use of your Van I think some of the Panels may be a bit loose after all the snoring that I done after consuming nearly a bottle of Bundy:side: if anyone finds an OB stubby cooler with Ollie written on the bottom give us a hoy ;)
Thanks Dave for being the first one to crash again :woohoo:
also a big thanks for all the boys who helped me change my rear tyre all gun tyre changers with good intentions but not the best results. I met a heap of lads from Bello who are real good fella’s and hope to catch up with you all againB)

lastly but not least TB and Mick go and get ROOTED:laugh:
