no really mate, If you find a good dealer, support them its generally the minority that ruin it for the rest.
I honestly think the 2 strokes are making a strong resurgence in popularity, I wish Suzuki were still making the RMXB)

Quote:Hey ollie, the gasser is still oil/ fuel premix, is it not?
do they still run a ceramic cylinder bore?
the only way i’ll go back to a 2banga is if it’s self mix/injected.
Gyday XY
The 2 stroke is premix only ie you have to do it,which doesnt worry me as I then know that it is mixed properly, simple but effective. They have a Nickasil bore. The Gasser is a great trail bike as are all of the 2 stroke 300’s out there at the moment. Just takes a bit of mucking around to get the power characteristics the way I like it. Goes great now:woohoo:

Rod MulveyGyday Rod and welcome to the forum and thanks for your sponsorship. I have a young guy at work who is interested in the Gasgas 300 I will hit him up when I speak with him next.
for everyone else: Rod has personally been of great assistance to me and my mate Rick whenever I have ventured North and had a problem, front wheel bearings and buggered clutch cable on the Husky 360 come to mind.So please support these guys at Mud an Tar especially for your Gasgas or Suzuki needs.

07 Gasgas 300Have Seen this many times, at least you know the previous owner was doing his maintenance. To get the screws out you have to get an impact driver (about $15 from bunnings or any auto shop)from memory use the smaller tip of the two that usually come with it. use a little bit of gentle persuasion.

he knew he had to pass tb at that point to get to the rescue site and stop further carnage.
then he administered first aid then arranged help.

Spend the money and buy some decent pads, better then damaged disc’s, I was lucky as I heard it about 2kms from the end of day one and stopped using the back brake. I had packed a spare set of EBC that had done the four day when I raced it and 11 months trail riding
TB
I agree with TB.Dont buy cheap pads from EBAY. all I said was compare the pads on Ebay as they usually have actual pictures of the pads, you can then cross reference them.and then get the decent ones
Ollie
Bad luck there Scotty,Karma for the effort mate and knowing when it time to throw the towel in. I also know what it is like to contend with the roster Nazi’s. There will be a next time;)

I have a spare roll of the stuff in the shed,it is annealed 304 .032. and is used on aircraft.(so it is good) I will send it up and let you guys divvy it up in one of Micks famous shed parties. Did I mention the Speedo may fit a KTM:laugh:
Ollie
Fez I tend to agree with the shop. I tried an internerd search for you but didnt come up with anything credible:dry:
all I can suggest is to remove your pads, they may have some markings on them,if not you may have to do some comparo’s from a web site etc,try ebay as some sellers actually post up Pics of the actual pads, hope this has helped, best of luckOllie
