The best thing for that is a glue from Rema Tip Top called SC2000 its used for rubberlining and belt splicing if you look for a local rubberlining or belt splicing company in your area (Fenner Dunlop, Sandvik, Convatec)they will sell you some

Where are you ??..maybe able to put you on to someone as i work for Fenner Dunlop

I agree with Badfuns recommendation good stuff if you can get B) it. You can also help a lot by getting some self tapping screws and putting one in every 30mm or so. Ive also used small gauge nails you just have to remember to fold over the protruding sharp bit with a nail punch.

    hope this helps

    BIRTHDAY REMINDER

This week we celebrate a special birthday! Monica Lewinsky turned 34. Can you believe it? It seems like only yesterday she was crawling around the White House on her hands and knees, and putting everything in her mouth. They grow up so fast, don’t they?

The Day the Penis asked for a Raise

I, the Penis, hereby request a raise in salary for the following reasons:
    I do physical labor.
    I work at great depths..
I plunge headfirst into everything I do.
I do not get weekends or public holidays off.
I work in a damp environment.
I work in a dark workplace that has poor ventilation.
    I work in high temperatures.
My work exposes me to contagious diseases.
    Sincerely,

    P. Niss

    The Response
    Dear Penis:
After assessing your request, and considering the arguments you have raised, the administration rejects your request for the following reasons:
You do not work 8 hours straight.
You fall asleep after brief work periods.
You do not always follow the orders of the management team. You do not stay in your designated area and are often seen visiting other locations.
You do not take initiative – you need to be pressured and stimulated in order to start working.
You leave the workplace rather messy at the end of your shift.
You don’t always observe necessary safety regulations, such as wearing the
    Correct protective clothing.
You will retire well before you are 65.
You are unable to work double shifts.
You sometimes leave your designated work area before you have completed the assigned task..
And if that were not all, you have been seen constantly entering and exiting the workplace carrying two suspicious-looking bags.
    Sincerely,

    V. Gina

Great News for these financially challenging times!

I found a local prostitute who charges by the inch.

I can’t afford her but thought you might enjoy a cheap night out.

If its been pissing down and you are riding single track and getting hit across the dial with wet branches, the best thing I have found is the good ol safety specs with Daves recommended treatment as there is a lot more airflow.

Slopfest it will. Nothing better than a Watties mud pack.

    Bring on Sunday :)

keep an eye on your rear pads boys, nothin wears Pads quicker than a wet wato’s:ohmy:

    Ollie

Good quailty pads you will be fine ;) , e bay ones wont cut it Ollie lol  Get what you pay for always say that

    TB

I agree 100% but the Sand/clay/mud mix of the Wato’s is probably the worst I have ever come across, especially when riding in all of the single track stuff near the Pines. Those $12 dollar delivered pads are a false economy.

On a similar sort of note. Do I have to go get my bike pink slipped when my rego is due if it’s less than 3 years old?

On a positive note Our rip off state government has decreed that Pink slips are now only done after the car/bike is over 5 years old

Dave I seem to remember that the little Yamaha TTR 250 you have been riding has provided sterling service and you couldnt wipe the shit grin from your dial, meanwhile the Kato was sitting in the shed in a hundred bits:blink: go figure.

Puddles having owned a 98 WR4 and a 04 WR450 the button definatley does make it easier, the 450 also has a wider spread of power not as snappy as the 400. both good bikes though.
    Hang in there mate
