This will also give you a chance to grease and inspect swingarm bearings etc. I can tell you, you can have the greatest and worlds best shock but unless you have good greased moving pivot points you dont get the best from your suspension.Given it is an 04 model it could be overdue

+1
The steel frame yz’s and WR’s were notorious for seizing up on the Swing Arm shaft, I would remove the whole swingarm

What would I want in a bike shop ?
How about some sales staff with some seat of the pants experience !!
Went into MCA at Auburn today and was greeted by a young grommet maybe 14 or 15 year old asked about a RMX250 airfilter He replied ” they only make RMX’s in a 450 ” I pointed out his shortcomings in Motorcycling model history and to his credit he retrieved the right airfilter for me.
I think MCA must be doing something right as they had close to a hundred people in the shop and about 20 staff. Must have a huge turn over. I think they have just opened up another store as well.

Bad news is I broke every other bone in my foot. I’m still waiting for surgery (i could be on here for over a week)as my foot is to swollen & apparently I will have a lot of screws & plates once it’s done. But getting back on the bike is going to be a long away away.

What a great day out in the Bush with some good mates. I had a ball today and worked hard to keep up the pace I drank 3 litres of water at about the 3/4 mark. The whole group had a good pace going although I am sure Sam was only just cruising  Adam lead us on some great tracks and most were quite technical with a lot of rocky drop offs and tight single trail. I loved the over tree track which was a fast flowing single with a lot of little switch backs. We had to stop at one section and Adam grabbed my Aldi Bush saw and cleared some over hanging vines,I think it got the tick of approval  on the way back we did a rock step up The other 3 boys nailed it but Adam ran up the side of Justo 180’s leg and unclipped his boot buckles  This rock is about 6 feet high and nearly vertical, lucky for me I had been watching my Shane Watts dirtwise vid the night before and hit it with the front wheel about half way up and back end grabbed traction and threw me about 10 feet clear of the obstacle :woohoo: impressed the shit out of me  We probably came across more fourbies than bikes today and I am still scratching my head on how Adam ended up under the bumper of a 4×4
So this is the fourth ride back since my big off and the confidence is getting back nothing like conquering some gnarly uphills (lets not talk about marble Hill, that was just F#@ked  )Thanks again Adam Sam and Justo 180 for a great day out, look forward to the next one. Oh and that beer went down a treat mate thanks.
