Your Gas Gas is the best 2 smoker I’ve ridden Ollie. I might be a bit premature in saying that as I only has a very quick go. The power delivery is excellent and the suspension felt great, I was just struggling with your back brake lever being about an inch higher than your footpeg and the lack of engine braking. Oh and the buzzing sensation in my hands when I stand up!

    Great little bike though.

Yeh thanks Moto,it took a lot of mucking around to get the power delivery the way I like it. when I rode yous and Matts bike I overshot the first few corners as the rear brake was so far down:laugh: Suspension is a bit soft for me still but the action is noice and compliant. Anyone got any remedies for the vibration,Ie type of bars gloves or clamps, after wringing its neck for a day I also get numb hands from the vibrations.

After all is said and done, I have also tried a few other remedies. you can use a washing powder with Enzymes you make up a slurry and you have to let it sit for about a day, works incredibly well. Another product that you can use is called Actizyme same as before clean up the best you can using all of the aformentioned products then make up a slurry of the actizyme and let it sit for a few hours

    good as new

Then lay some carpet down in your Garage with a waterproof sheet underneath Noice!!B)

What TB said:laugh: if the throttle response is good in the first half it doesn’t need to be altered.leave the pilot/fuel screw alone. you should be able to alter the leanness/richness of your midrange by altering your clip position there is a definant difference with a single movement each way. With the main go as rich as the engine can handle.remember its not what revs the engine is doing its what position your throttle is in that determines which stage of the carby is brought into play. That is why you should put some tape on your throttle housing and divide it into 3 sections helps to easily identify which circuit needs playing with.and lastly always do your checks on an engine that is thoroughly warmed up,ie go for a quick 5 minute squirt around the block. Hope this helps, you have to do a bit of fiddling to get it right.

check the basics first smurf.confirm it has compression and is getting fuel. Try changing the plug, check the plug cap and lead and also the coil readings if all that fails or shows that its ok you will need to go deeper into the magneto coils and timing.Usually the timing is not a concern. best of luck mate, keep us informed of your findings.

Okay, I didn’t realise that was you. You were there with your mate Dan then ;)

We can chat about it we get out for the next ride, if you know any erzberg sh!t yourself we can try and link it up :)

If you want tight single trail and erzberg single track may I suggest a few locations:blush:

Panadol Hill access is from Boyds Take the first left and follow it
Prick Hill moto you know that one:blink: plus all of the adjoining single track
Devils boulders after Prick hill single track you know this as well moto comes out on Siding rd (I think)
The track off siding rd that goes up the Hill where Gili had that monster leach on his leg. Then head towards Tunks fire trail (this is Erzberg shit especially if it Rains:S ) Then make your way to scout camp and head Lemon tree then towards the Pines
That should get the heart rate going for you:laugh: I would easily rate a 4 possibly 5 Depending where you start you could possibly throw in Whitemans and Hitchcocks and Georges, all on Dooralong Map
