I have had a few bikes in the 38 years of riding.

The worst nastiest most evil bike of them all would have to have been my first 250 motocrosser it was a Yamaha MX250C It had an engine like an 80 on Viagara,it handled like a wheel barrow full of walruses,it didnt stop real well and scared the shite out of me. Although I use to love it because A. it was the first bike that I had paid for by myself (14 at the time)and B.the neighbours always use to complain about it  I was a rebel. It was sad to see it go,I sold it to a mate who grafted it into a YZ frame and he loved it,he used it to round up the cows:laugh:

    TONGUE TWISTER

A guy boards his plane bound for Pittsburgh and sits down in his seat.
He notices immediately that the guy next to him has a black eye. He says

to him, “Hey this is a coincidence; we both have black eyes, mind if I
    ask how you got yours?

Other guy: “Well, it just happened. It was a tongue twister accident.
See, I was at the ticket counter and this gorgeous blonde with the
hugest tits in the world was there. So, instead of saying ‘I’d like a
ticket to Pittsburgh’, I accidentally said ‘I’d like a Picket to
Tittsburgh.’ And then she socked me one.”

First guy: “Mine was a tongue twister too. I was at the breakfast table
and I wanted to say to my wife: ‘Please pour me a bowl of Wheaties’ But
I accidentally said: ”You ruined my life you fuckin’ bitch!'”

    TB

Noticed the chain was a bit loose at Swans crossing but not to bad, I did adjust it the nite before during my preps.

Still on Holidays until the 27th,but have a lot of shit to sort out.(missus still not happy about buying the DRZ whilst in NZ:blink: )

I am now a no show on the Hillend ride:( sorry Boyz) but I have to do another trip up the coast that weekend.(not bike related)

Just spoke to Ollie on the phone, they got the Gasser to the Comboyne turn on the Oxley highway and went and got the ute as he wasn’t game to ride it at 10kmh on the highway. No verdict yet as to what is wrong with it. They weren’t noises I would like to hear coming from my bike.

great ride boysB) thanks for the big effort put in by all of the northcoast chapter.I know what goes into one of these rides. awsome job.
I pulled the engine out of the bike yesterday and delivered it to Macleay motorcycles for a strip down,Got the dreaded phone call this arvo (great service boys B) )

When the chain derailed it instantly locked up the gearbox,I was in third at the time rounding up the 4 stroke gasser, the shock loading on third gear and the driven gear was extreme which caused a couple of teeth to sheer off the cogs:ohmy: This has not been heard of on a gasser before as the gearbox is a very sturdy unit
maybe Im just hard on bikes:dry: still have to find out what it is going to cost me,I will be happy if it is under $500. Labor is $65 an hour which is reasonable.
will let you all know the outcome when I find out.
BTW I also handed out a wad of the OB flyers:P just doin my bit

I don’t understand this  , I mean I understand buying a bike because you like the look of it :) , and I understand buying aftermarket plastics to protect originals but the same colour to keep that look you liked when you bought the bike, multi coloured?? Jury is out with me on black panels etc, but each is for their own of course. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder for sure

ive heard it done before, but in my opinion when it comes to something that protects your engine especially the titanium valved 4 strokes why chance it with something that is meant to be eaten or cooked with. I dont think I would consider doing it,a litre of Motorex filter oil costs about $30 that will last me at least 6-9 months maybe longer.
