that put me back in my place for the rest of the dayLast time I rode down that hill (pre running a special test) I remember thinking …
‘this would be a nasty place to crash’
Turn out not to be so bad after all. I can almost recommend it as a fun place to crashHa HA best of all I was the cornerman there and saw it all unfold right before my eyes:laugh:  classic! thanks Champo

Quote:It’s about 2K’s all up up Whitemans. I did it once and the end of a ride when I buggered, so lots of stopping. Took me and Matt over an hour.Im with Moto on that one TB going up Whitemans would be ridiculous and not what I would describe as being fun, Hitchcocks not much better, I would suggest Maculata,danielspoint,boyds,duffies-panadol hill boyds again then moto knows the rest:laugh:
I dont think I would be able to make it but Gili maybe a chance

No probs mate,I forgot to mention that it also now has a wider angle lense so you dont get that tunnel vision sensation a definate improvement and you can also use the new one as computer cam.

Gyday Badfun,I originally had (still have)a Helcam 520 line job it plugs into a PMP device which has a video in jack. the quality is top notch but I no longer use it as all the cables that you need are a pain in the arse and it only takes a 1GB sd card.I also have the latest version ATC3K which uses a much better 4GB SD card. The Video quality is Ok but you do get a lot of wind noise, also the on/off button is a pain to operate and like TB said it takes a bit to get the camera properly setup. On the downside It also sticks out to the side of your helmet a a fair way,so if your thrashing through the bush there is a chance that you may get hung up in some vines or hit with a sapling or stray Goanna maybe :woohoo: You also need to take some cotton buds with you to clean the lense as the aperture is quite small. I paid $235 off ebay for it and I guess I am reasonably happy with it.Hope this helps
cheers Ollie
