Mick I could just imagine how Ant feels. What I “usually” do to help stop this is I tie the inside handlebars together with some rope or an “ocky” strap this helps the bikes to move in unison together and is an extra safegaurd if one of the tiedown lets go

    thats my take on it

    Moto,

I reckon that 6 x 4 will be too short for what you want to do. Even with the bike loaded diagonally, you may have trouble closing the tailgate. Have you tried loading your bike in a 6 x 4 previously?

Also, make sure you get yourself a spare tyre for it as well.

Moto Im with Nigel on that one I had a 7 x 5 and my bikes just fitted in when you compressed the rear suspension. You may have to take to the front with an Angle Grinder and cut out a couple of slots and reweld in some flat bar to support your front wheel, easy job. How much coin did you pay?

Anyone fancy a ride on the Monday?

I’m thinking maybe the Maculata loop, but I’m not majorly fussed. Just wouldn’t mind getting out.

Hey steve I might be interested in that one probably Gili would be also, although not to keen going up whitemans, thats just ridiculous, down is good especially if you know all the little offshoots,Mondays Temp will probably be the best also about 25 degrees(Sat & Sun 33 degrees:blush: ) Stop for a Beer at Ourimbah Tallies on way Home

Hey Ollie whats doing mate, you had some clutch trouble I read and some squirrel trouble as well eh?

    TB

yeah Mate complete clutch kit on its way from the states $91 delivered hopefully that will fix it,
Squirrels are no trouble you just have to ignore them, and give appropriate negative Karma as required  BTW as the WR has been out of action Ive had to use the RMX again in the Watagans, and honestly I had a blast,if I had to manhandle the WR through Tunks fire trail like I did with the RMX I dont think I would have got out of there!! Next bike will be another two stroke for sure

I reckon the berg looks shithot, different but shithot, like the New BMW different, fuel injection is the way of the future it wont be long before all manufacturers have it and I believe the injection does not even have to have a battery,I to would like to have a kickstarter backup, the WR would sometimes not start on the button but would kick over easily.nice to know that its there thats for sure.Dealer support maybe an issue,Sutto’s are great,Cessnock is also very Good have not dealt with any of the others but because you are on the Central Coast you would be using either of these two dealers mostly anyway.Being the first of a new model design can be a risk worth considering and also cost of spares. In my honest opinion I would say no to the 09 model and see what is around the corner 2010,you are always going to lose money on a new bike. I would like to see how the new Huskies go in the real world

    cheers Ollie
