At this point in time count me in.I can also bring along one of those little disposable gas BBQ jobs to throw some snags on a frypan or whatever

great stuff mick, like what you said “There is a perfect example of the Old Bull site doing what it was intended, linking up like minded people for a ride and some good times, if it wasn’t for the networking this site allows, even though Guy and I live in the same small town we may never have crossed paths.”
These type of rides keeps the sport thriving (and the beer flowing:laugh: )

yeah I can help you with that Ollie, but most of my tracks are in my head, how about we just ride up there heaps and you can learn from me grass hopper !!
But yeah we can do some mapping, hey you plan on going riding up there without me?
Nah mate of course not,but as I live at Hornsby it is only an hour away for me,I would like to go every weekend if I could:laugh: there is always somewhere different to ride,I reckon Moto would also be able to show us a couple of tracks;) I was fairly familiar with Maculata and Whitemans but would prefer to ride it with just a few guys first before taking a heap of others out.makes for a better day.

Ok here it goes! This is my second attempt the server at work shat itself mid release of the last!!
The Watagans has some of the best trails in Oz!period!!there I said it.Although due to the high number of users around certain areas it can get a bit rutted out.The hills are good if you can find one that goes somewhere(whoops sorry TB  ) with a great combination of open flat stuff wet and wild undergrowth and creek crossings.ITs best if ridden with people who know where they are going as there are trails everywhere,Wauchope is good, very good actually the biggest advantage is it is right in your backyard. everyone should ride the Watagans at least once. The riding before we got to that slippery porkchop hill would have to be up there with the best without a doubt.!!
cheers Olie

Hey Gilli, just got me a ATC3k oregon scientific job,got it off Ebay for $245 dollars and that included a 4gig SD card and free express postage this is the latest version.I also have a sony pencil cam which plugs into a portable media player with a video in jack. But the card is max 1 gig (about 40 minutes)and you have wires and microphones and battery pack to worry about which can be a pain in the arse.I will trial it out next ride and give a full report,Hey Tiny interested in another ride i need some action footage:laugh:
